I had the pleasure of discovering Chef Romain's restaurant, Saint-Gabriel, in Toulon after meeting him at a wine exhibition near the Saint-Tropez. I decided to give it a go whilst visiting Toulon for business. What a gem! My family and I were blown away by the delicious food, generous portions, and fantastic wine selection. The bone marrow was a standout, and the calamari with artichokes was simply spectacular. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience in Toulon. Eating there 1st of December - it was an amazing experience. You MUST try the "Bourride Toulonienne" - local specialty with a very tasteful white creamy sauce, white fish, Jumbo-Shrimp and more seafood, served with provencale baked potatoes and vegetable - yummy - yummy, man, was that good!
