The fish is fantastic but the lamb has little smell. The guinea is delicious. The service is very nice and staff are thoughtful.

DONT go there ! The worse place I ate in the region.. the pamentier was so strange and tasted just like Roquefort and oil. See picture atmosphere is very weird as well. It feels like Service doesn’t feel like a 5 star. It felt like a weird depressive museum

Quelle jolie découverte. Le café de la Fontaine offre une qualité des mets remarquable tout autant qu’un cadre idyllique. Logé en terrasse du Relai  Château Le Phebus, nous découvrons un magnifique endroit et parc au centre d’un paysage silencieux et naturel. Le service est agréable et discret, l’ambiance confortable pour ce bistrot au dress code plutôt relax. Nous avons choisi un menu à deux plats, vin au verre possible.
Dans ce décor raffiné et luxueux, et décontracté, je vois mon entrée de fenouil et c’est presque dommage de rompre l’équilibre parfait des fleurs mises sur le dessus. La volaille et le melon est également un ravissement pour les yeux et le goût.

What a lovely discovery. The Café de la Fontaine offers remarkable food quality as well as an idyllic setting. Housed on the terrace of the Relai Château Le Phebus, we discover a magnificent place and park in the center of a silent and natural landscape. The service is pleasant and discreet, the atmosphere comfortable for this bistro with a rather relaxed dress code. We chose a two-course menu, wine by the glass possible.
In this refined and luxurious, yet relaxed setting, I see my entry of fennel and it's almost a shame to break the perfect balance of the flowers placed on top. Poultry and melon are also a delight for the eyes and taste.

Dimanche 16 juin 2024 nous avons mangé au Castellas de Sivergues remarquable établissement dans le rapport qualité prix et dans le lieu.
Lundi 17 juin 2024 nous avons mangé au Café de La Fontaine à Joucas.
Dans l’entrée de l’établissement le Chef Xavier Mathieu, saluait les clients bon pied bon œil aimable, souriant, ça met à l’aise.
Nous nous sommes installés près de la Fontaine.
Très mal reçu par un maître d’hôtel manifestement agacé… agacé de quoi on se demande ? De notre âge ?
Un temps record pour servir un apéritif, qui est arrivé tellement tardivement qu’on avait mangé tous les amuses bouche.
On nous demande si on veut du blanc, du rouge, ou du champagne…
Ne sommes nous pas capables de discuter de vin?
Nous avions marché toute la journée par voie de conséquent on avait faim, on nous demande si on veut la baguette complète à 2-3 reprises.
Lourdeur infinie et grossièreté de ce personnage qui nous sert.
Il nous demande si on a déjà mangé au gastro à l’étage … « bah vous reviendrez la prochaine fois pour manger la bas »
Mon dieu que c’est drôle. On se fend la poire avec tes commentaires mon vieu.
Le chapeau de ma courgette farcie était cru.
D’ailleurs courgette qui n’avait rien d’intéressant.
J’ai demandé à prendre en plat un fenouil qui a la base est un entrée.
Un minuscule morceau de fenouil, est arrivé.

Tout ça avec un personnage détestable au service.
Ma famille possède une propriété à Lacoste nous sommes donc des habitués du Luberon.
La prochaine fois j’irai donc à Café Cappelongue, au Gastro de Cappelongue, à la Bergerie ou au Castellas, mais dernière fois qu’on me traite de la sorte.
C’est honteux.
On était à Cappelongue le midi, c’était plein.
C’est impensable de traiter les gens ainsi. Peut être faut il changer de métier. Et ça n’est certainement pas ainsi que vous motiverez les gens à venir dans l’établissement. Et les gens de mon âge lisent les commentaires Google.

Sunday June 16, 2024 we ate at the Castellas de Sivergues, a remarkable establishment in terms of value for money and location.
Monday June 17, 2024 we ate at Café de La Fontaine in Joucas.
At the entrance to the establishment, Chef Xavier Mathieu greeted customers with a friendly, friendly, smiling eye, which puts you at ease.
We settled near the Fountain.
Very poorly received by a clearly annoyed butler... annoyed by what one wonders? Our age?
Record time to serve an aperitif, which arrived so late that we had eaten all the appetizers.
We are asked if we want white, red, or champagne…
Are we not capable of discussing wine?
We had been walking all day so we were hungry, we were asked if we wanted the whole baguette 2-3 times.
Infinite heaviness and crudeness of this character who serves us.
He asks us if we have already eaten at the gastro upstairs… “well you will come back next time to eat downstairs”
My god that's funny. We're having a hard time with your comments, my friend.
The top of my stuffed zucchini was raw.
Besides zucchini which had nothing interesting.
I asked to have a fennel dish which is basically a starter.
A tiny piece of fennel arrived.

My family owns a property in Lacoste so we are regulars in the Luberon.
Next time I will go to Café Cappelongue, Gastro de Cappelongue, la Bergerie or Castellas, but last time I will be treated like this.

We were in Cappelongue at midday, it was full.
It is unthinkable to treat people like this. Maybe you need to change careers. And that’s certainly not how you’ll motivate people to come to the establishment. And people my age read Google reviews.

Un bon souvenir il y a quelques années mais une grande déception cette fois. Installés sur une terrasse sans charmes et non près de la piscine, on nous a servi des plats corrects mais sans grande recherche ni surprise avec un service minimum effort. Un champagne pas frais (25€), des vins locaux (14 et 16€) dont un vin blanc à température ambiante et un rouge froid !! Et sans aucune présentation ni dégustation des vins servis…effet fin de saison (10/09)????pour un bistronomique d’un hôtel 5 étoiles, accolé à un restaurant étoilé ce n’est pas acceptable !!! Et au moment de payer, on ne vous demande même pas si cela a été…lassitude?prétention?ou je m’en foutisme?…l’addition n’est pas un problème si la qualité et le service sont au rdv mais ici rien n’y était…il y a bien d’autres endroits dans le coin où vous trouverez cela à moindre coût et avec la convivialité et l’envie de vous faire plaisir en plus!

A good memory a few years ago but a big disappointment this time. Installed on a terrace without charm and not near the swimming pool, we were served decent dishes but without much research or surprises with minimum effort service. A cold champagne (25€), local wines (14 and 16€) including a white wine at room temperature and a cold red!! And without any presentation or tasting of the wines served...end of season effect (10/09)????for a bistro in a 5-star hotel, attached to a starred restaurant, this is not acceptable!!! And when it's time to pay, they don't even ask you if it was... weariness? pretension? or I don't care?... the bill is not a problem if the quality and service are there but nothing here wasn't there...there are many other places in the area where you will find this at a lower cost and with friendliness and the desire to please yourself too!
