What a disappoint! The food is a total waste of time and money. Risotto d'epoutre far too creamy and nauseating. Salade fois des volaille, gésier and lentilles cold and tasteless. Pig foot okish. The courgettes and côte de bœuf was good. Though, the mussels soup was far too salty. All this with the longest waiting time ever. Thanks god we had Marine serving us, she has been extremely accommodating and professional.
I strongly advise to avoid this restaurant.

Superb bistro in a lovely quaint French village .. lovely atmosphere. Excellent waiting staff who were willing to help translate menu. I had a delicious starter of mussels which were in a tasty sauce .. great that they were always shelled .. so no messing. I then had a chicken dish wrapped in aubergine. For dessert I chose the goats cheese .. my fault I should have chosen something sweet as cheese with lettuce felt more starter then dessert to me. Definitely recommend for traditional / French fare !

Food was okay but the service was horrible, very unfriendly. Edit: i recieved an email that the owner made a reply to my review not being positive about the service and that i should return when i'm in a better mood. This shows the character and ego of the owner. I quickly scrolled through some of his other replies on lower scores and it's always the same, always blaming the customer instead of just accepting that sometimes people don't like what has been offered to them. As for the owner, i was in a great mood and so was the company i was with but we all found the waitor to be rude, our french isn't the best and asking for some more info in not really perfect french was not at all to his liking. I saw some previous comments of the owner that his staff speak other languages too, this is a lie. No complaint since i'm in France but some patience from your staff would be appreciated. As for the owner, drop the ego, the food was good but not nearly as great as the asking price would suggest. I do get that not every customer is reasonable but many if not most are.
