I’d like to share my recent experience at the bistrot gastronomique. To start on a positive note, the service staff were incredibly kind and attentive. Unfortunately, the quality of the food did not live up to expectations.

First, the portion sizes were disappointingly small given the price point—24 euros for a tiny piece of tart, for example. The pissaladière, a classic dish from Provence, was neither generous nor particularly flavorful; it certainly wasn’t the best I’ve had.

Next came the meat dish, which most of us ordered. It was so tough that one of our party couldn’t even eat it, and the rest of us only managed with considerable effort—more out of respect for the animal than enjoyment.

But the most concerning part for me was the handling of my food allergy. Despite informing the staff of my allergy when ordering, I was served a dish that contained the very ingredient I needed to avoid. When I pointed this out, they took the plate back, only to return it to me with the same pieces of meat, rinsed off and covered in a small amount of sauce to disguise the mistake. I still found traces of the allergen, and though the waitress was sweet and apologetic, I was shocked they thought this was an acceptable solution.

Overall, this was not a meal to remember—for all the wrong reasons.

Spa and restaurant on site is magnificent with nice view, great interior design, delicious food, attentive service, relaxing atmosphere, pure tranquility, highly recommended.

Having stayed at this hotel when it first opened many years ago I was thrilled to come back and see the beautiful refurbished space.
The bedrooms are lovely, bright, modern and spacious.
The service tries hard and is mostly great but the pool area needs more attentive servers.
We went with two young children and whilst the hotel were welcoming it is very much not a child friendly hotel. No children’s menus and it has a very quiet, grown up feel. Especially around the swimming pool. I think I would have enjoyed the weekend much more if it had been an adult trip!

My stay at Le Couvent des Minimes Hôtel & Spa L'Occitane was nothing short of a luxurious escape. Love the decoration and details of this hotel and also, a special mention to the gastronomic dinner we had, the food was perfectly done well!! Love, love love it! This place is a must for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in a stunning setting.

Amazing location, incredible staff and perfect place to relax. Nothing is to hard for them, everyone is smiley and Spa facilities are great. Treatments are well thought of and the staff at the Spa was wonderful. Rooms are clean and have everything you might need. Truly recommend if in search of a good Spa Hotel, plenty to see around if you don’t want to be stuck in the hotel, but also plenty to enjoy  staying in. Thank you for making my weekend break so nice.
