Urig und gemütlich - am Kamin.
In ostfriesischem Ambiente lässt es sich gut Speisen. Schöne Auswahl an Gerichten, schmackhaft und nett angerichtet.
Das Serviceduo (2 'in die Jahre' gekommene Damen) meistern  mit ostfriesischer Mentalität und Ruhe, den Gastraum und machen den Aufenthalt "am Kamin" zu etwas besonderem.
Daumen hoch für ein paar gemütliche Stunden!

The service duo (two 'aging' ladies) master the guest room with East Frisian mentality and calm and make the stay "by the fireplace" something special.

Hatten nicht reserviert,  bekamen trotzdem noch einen kleinen Tisch. Als kurze Zeit später ein schönerer Platz frei wurde, wurden wir gefragt ob wir umziehen wollen.  Was wir gerne annahmen.  Freundliche, schnelle Bedienung,  das Essen sehr lecker und toll angerichtet. Muscheln im Eimer und Kutterscholle auf einem Glasteller in Fischform. Das Personal sehr engagiert und zuvorkommend,  aber nicht aufdringlich. Preise fanden wir angemessen.

We didn't make a reservation, but we still got a small table. When a nicer place became available a short time later, we were asked if we wanted to move.  Which we gladly accepted.  Friendly, fast service, the food was very tasty and well prepared. Mussels in a bucket and cutter floe on a fish-shaped glass plate. The staff was very committed and courteous, but not intrusive. We found prices reasonable.

Dieses hübsche Restaurant direkt am Wasser ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Das Essen ist ein echter Genuss. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend.                                           Das einzige was ich außerdem aber empfehlen würde, trinkt ein ehrliches Bier zum Essen. Der Wein ist dermaßen überteuert das man das lassen sollte.              Wir durften die Weinflasche fotografieren. Ich weiß also wovon ich spreche.

This lovely restaurant right on the water is definitely worth a visit. The food is a real pleasure. The service was very accommodating.                                           The only other thing I would recommend is drinking an honest beer with your meal. The wine is so overpriced that you should leave it alone.              We were allowed to photograph the wine bottle. So I know what I'm talking about.

Rückblick auf den gestrigen Abend: Es war gemütlich und äußerst angenehm "Am Kamin" in Dornumersiel. Die frischen Produkte, das schöne Ambiente und die sehr freundliche Bedienung haben überzeugt. Wir freuen uns darauf, dieses Lokal wieder zu besuchen.
