Exceeded my expectations! The food was freshly prepared and, wow, was it delicious.

As one of the places in Dobel, they have a limited menu (changes daily) but the food is excellent, so it’s amazing. The team was also super friendly (and helpful), so it felt more like visiting old friends than anything else. Worth it!

If you know you are in the area or doing something like the Westweg, be sure to reserve a table in advance as they were quite full when we were there.

What a lovely café/restaurant, popped in for lunch from England on holiday with my father, the lady who served us is very friendly, the service was first class, I highly recommend the duck leg. Bumped into a Scottish lady and her German husband who gave us lots of advice about the local area. I will definitely be returning. (I'm sorry for the half eaten plate on the photo but couldn't help but start eating before I took the picture)

We arrived by bike and the waiter was already welcoming us with a super warm smile. The food is delicious, they have around 10 different homemade cakes. The most difficult is to choose which one you want for a dessert. The place has a very cosy terrace and the staff is the nicest ever.

My brother and I got here after hiking from Pforzheim. The lady was truly charming, opened the kitchen for a late lunch for us, and generally made us feel welcome. Couldn't recommend enough

What a treat! An exceptional place to eat. We felt so lucky to find this open on Easter Sunday.  A warm welcome, excellent service, the family were so helpful and friendly we felt immediately at home and nothing was too much trouble. The food was absolutely fabulous. Perfectly cooked fish, delicious salads and sides, a wonderful quarter of duck and mouthwatering cakes. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. A thoroughly fantastic dining experience. I wish I lived nearby so I could eat there every week!
