Wir waren im November/Dezember 2024 für gut 3 Wochen in Costa Rica unterwegs. Im Vorfeld hatten wir unsere geplante Reise via Online-Meeting mit Micha besprechen können, worauf wir dann noch die eine oder andere Anpassung gemacht haben. Vor Ort haben wir uns perfekt betreut und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Sowohl mit dem Mietwagen, den beiden Hotelunterkünften nach Ankunft und vor der Abreise sowie der Sim-Karte für unser Mobil hat alles bestens geklappt. Wir empfehlen den Service von Pura Vida zu 100% empfehlen.

We traveled to Costa Rica for a good 3 weeks in November/December 2024. In advance, we were able to discuss our planned trip with Micha via an online meeting, after which we made one or two adjustments. We felt perfectly looked after and in good hands on site. Everything worked out perfectly with the rental car, the two hotel accommodations after arrival and before departure, as well as the SIM card for our mobile phone. We recommend Pura Vida's service 100%.

Wir haben über Pura Vida Travel unseren Mietwagen (Adobe Car) gebucht. Alles war super. Die Beratung durch Micha und Uli haben wir überaus geschätzt. Auch cool, dass man eine eSIM zusätzlich erhält. Diese hat uns für 4 Wochen CR total locker gereicht (verwendet für Navigation und auch teilweise Recherchen). Unbedingte Empfehlung!

We booked our rental car (Adobe Car) through Pura Vida Travel. Everything was great. We really appreciated the advice from Micha and Uli. It's also cool that you also get an eSIM. This was easily enough for us for 4 weeks of CR (used for navigation and also some research). Absolute recommendation!

Wir haben eine wunderschöne zweiwöchige Rundreise mit Mietauto durch Costa Rica hinter uns und sind Uli und Micha unglaublich dankbar für ihre Unterstützung!
Sie waren uns immer zwei wertvolle Ansprechpartner, mit denen wir im Vorfeld die Reise mittels Videocall geplant haben.  Wir haben das Flexpaket gebucht und möchten dieses wärmstens weiterempfehlen! Vor Ort haben wir bei jeglichen Fragen schnelle und ausführliche Antworten, sowie viele wertvolle Tipps für eine unvergessliche Zeit erhalten. Die Automietung konnten wir ebenfalls über Pura Vida abwickeln und haben das Auto an die erste Unterkunft gebracht bekommen. Mit dem gemieteten Allradauto waren wir sehr zufrieden.
Bei unserer nächsten Reise möchten wir auf jeden Fall wieder das Flexpaket buchen und wissen, dass wir in besten Händen sind!

We have had a wonderful two-week tour with a rental car through Costa Rica and are incredibly grateful to Uli and Micha for their support!
They were always two valuable contacts for us with whom we planned the trip in advance via video call.  We booked the flex package and would highly recommend it! We received quick and detailed answers to any questions we had on site, as well as many valuable tips for an unforgettable time. We were also able to arrange the car rental through Pura Vida and had the car delivered to the first accommodation. We were very satisfied with the four-wheel drive car we rented.

Wir haben den Mietwagen für unseren 5-wöchigen Costa Rica Trip über PuraVida Travel gemietet. Schon vorher hat uns Uli kompetent und geduldig am Telefon beraten. Mit dem Mietwagen (übrigens ein Suzuki Vitara - 2 Erw, 2 Kinder 10 und 12yo + 3 Koffer+ Handgepäck) hatten wir überhaupt keine Probleme. Er wurde uns direkt ins Hotel zugestellt, und von der Rückgabestelle gabs einen Transfer zum Flughafen. Unterwegs ging uns jedoch das Internet aus - die 3GB-SIM,  die im Mietwagenangebot inkludiert war, war ziemlich genau nach 3 Wochen aufgebraucht. Gemerkt haben wir das abends um 8- Ortszeit. Am nächsten Morgen wollten wir weiter (GoogleMaps, Waze!). Also hab ich den deutschsprachigen Kontakt von PuraVida Travel in Costa Rica kontaktiert. Dieser hat noch am selben Abend geantwortet und Uli in Europa kontaktiert. Als wir am nächsten Morgen aufgewacht sind hatte er uns aus der Ferne neue Daten aktiviert und die SIM verlängert. Super Service! Würd ich jederzeit wieder mit PuraVida Travel buchen. Herzlichen Dank! ☺️

We rented the rental car for our 5-week Costa Rica trip through PuraVida Travel. Uli had already given us competent and patient advice over the phone. We had no problems at all with the rental car (a Suzuki Vitara - 2 adults, 2 children 10 and 12yo + 3 suitcases + hand luggage). It was delivered directly to our hotel and there was a transfer from the return point to the airport. However, we ran out of internet on the way - the 3GB SIM that was included in the rental car offer was used up almost exactly after 3 weeks. We noticed this at 8 in the evening - local time. The next morning we wanted to move on (GoogleMaps, Waze!). So I contacted the German-speaking contact at PuraVida Travel in Costa Rica. He replied that same evening and contacted Uli in Europe. When we woke up the next morning he had remotely activated new data for us and extended the SIM. Great service! I would book with PuraVida Travel again at any time. Thank you very much! ☺️

Wir haben drei tolle Wochen in Costa Rica verbracht. Das Auto und mehrere Reisebausteine haben wir über Pura Vida Travel gebucht - hat prima geklappt. Besonders schön waren die Schokoladetour auf der La Anita Rainforest Farm, die Tagestour mit Ruben auf dem Rio San Carlos, die Nachttour mit Chris in Cahuita und die Bootsexpedition mit Kenner auf dem Rio Sierpe.

Uli und Micha haben uns im Vorfeld via Video-Call beraten, uns geholfen, die Route auf unsere Bedürfnisse anzupassen und uns mit Tipps und Tricks versorgt. Während der Reise konnten wir bei allen Fragen Micha erreichen, ein sehr hilfreicher Service.

We spent three great weeks in Costa Rica. We booked the car and several travel components through Pura Vida Travel - it worked out great. Particularly nice were the chocolate tour at the La Anita Rainforest Farm, the day tour with Ruben on the Rio San Carlos, the night tour with Chris in Cahuita and the boat expedition with Kenner on the Rio Sierpe.
