Great spot for high and casual dining! We met for an early, leisurely mid-day on Saturday. Love the decor and rotating bar. Some ordered pizza and some ordered steak and foie gras! Excellent wine, beer, and cocktails. We finished with port. Class service by a lovely young chap! The dessert was smashing with the port ice cream as well.

I had the pleasure of dining at the beautiful 959 Heidelberg Stadtgarten, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The menu choices and flavors were outstanding, and we opted for the tasting menu with a wine pairing, which was an excellent decision. Each dish we tried surpassed our expectations, leaving us thoroughly impressed. While we left the restaurant content, I would suggest either slightly increasing the portion size or adding a fourth course to the menu, as we were left wanting more of their delicious food. Nonetheless, our exploration of the hamachi, perch, lamb, and rhubarb dessert was an absolute delight. Personally, the perch stood out as one of my favorite dishes of the night, and I appreciated the choice of perch over sea bass. The lamb was cooked to perfection, and each bite left us craving more. Overall, our dinner experience was wonderful, and I highly recommend 959 Heidelberg Stadtgarten, especially for those looking to celebrate a special occasion.

My recent dining experience at **959 Heidelberg** was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the **reception was excellent**, and the entire experience only got better from there.

A special mention goes to **Fynn**, our server, who truly went above and beyond. His personalized service, from helping us choose the perfect dishes to selecting a delightful dessert, was impressive. His attention to detail, as well as the small touches and special surprises at the end of the meal, made the experience unforgettable.

Very nice restaurant with delicious food & presentations. Perfect ambiance but service wasn’t good. There were  4 of us. We ordered wines and never got it til we almost finished our dinner after reminding the servers a couple of times. Meal took forever to get to our table. Server was not pleasant. We noticed them serving  the non Asian customers faster. So I highly  DO NOT  recommend this place.   We paid over 300 euros for 4 & we would have not mind paying that much if customer’s service was good

Really low service quality combined with high prices. Waited 25 min to get served:

As I arrived I waited 5 min to get seated, nobody came so I chose a non reserved one by myself. 5 min later service staff finally appeared and told me that the table is booked in 30 min.

So I went inside - Service there told me the same table outside is booked in 1h 30min, I stayed inside …. 5 min later I got finally the menu.

Set for menu 120€pp and a la card  (~50€ per dish).

Another 10 min later I left the restaurant since nobody asked in 25 min there if I want to drink or eat anything … it was an outstanding bad service experience which I was not prepared for at that price level…. The restaurant was not full (17:00) neither they were understaffed.
