Very, very good. The entire Bareiss staff and all their restaurants are good,  but this one feels approachable and is designed to feel as such. Make reservations ahead of time, and follow their guidance to put your phones away once you're in there. Enjoy the ambience and company. Staff was also excellent - impeccable service!

Kulinarisches Top-Niveau und einzigartige Gastlichkeit!
In den Dorfstuben sitzt es sich unheimlich gemütlich. Das Ambiente ist rundum perfekt. Wir haben uns für den Menüvorschlag und die passende Weinbegleitung entschieden und schwärmen immer noch von den Geschmackserlebnissen. Als besonderes Highlight begrüßte uns auch noch der Patron Hermann Bareiss persönlich am Tisch.

Einfach Phänomenal. Fantastisches Essen , toller Service in einem ganz tollen Ambiente. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können es jedem nur empfehlen.

Dieses Restaurant kann man einfach nur empfehlen! So einen guten Service habe ich wirklich noch nie erlebt! Wie waren zu unserem Hochzeitstag dort und haben sogar noch eine Überraschung nebst handschriftlicher (!) Gratulationskarte und einen hübsch gedeckten Tisch bekommen. Unaufdringlich wurde sich regelmäßig erkundigt, ob alles in Ordnung sei und ob noch etwas gebracht werden kann. Wir sind so begeistert! Zwischendurch kam sogar ein Herr vom Hotel und hat uns zum Hochzeitstag gratuliert. Das war so lieb! Und das Essen war auch super lecker!

We can only recommend this restaurant! I have really never experienced such good service! We were there for our wedding anniversary and even got a surprise including a handwritten (!) congratulations card and a beautifully set table. We regularly asked unobtrusively whether everything was OK and whether anything else could be done. We are so excited! In between, a gentleman from the hotel even came and congratulated us on our wedding anniversary. That was so sweet! And the food was super delicious too!

Gemütliche Atmosphäre und spitzen Gastfreundschaft. Wir wurden von Anfang bis Ende äußerst zuvorkommend behandelt. Auf alle Sonderwünsche und Nachfrage wurde kompetent reagiert.
Das Essen ist fabelhaft, angefangen beim Brot bis hin zu den leckeren Desserts. Eine wahre Empfehlung für alle, die den Schwarzwald auch kulinarisch entdecken wollen.
