Known for its fine and innovative bagels, though better known as a book-joint in Berlin. S&S, as it is located quite close to Frankfurter Tor or S-Warschauer Str. and often gets crowded, and I confirm that it is!
People visit here for various purposes—killing time, meeting people, buying books, having brunch, or simply bagel lovers, or just stopping by. The place is tidy and has a well structured; nevertheless, people sometimes fail to understand simple instructions.
I enjoyed my time here; I came alone and spent good quality time. If you want to use a laptop, you can, but only in the bar area. I ordered coffee and cake; I am not a bagel fan; maybe next time. The staff are quite friendly and hardworking.

The wonderful smell welcomes you at the door, the rest is up to you. The bagel is wonderful. You can also buy a book.

The toilet is not very clean because there is only one toilet and everyone uses the same toilet.

Great bagels, maybe the best in Berlin (not a ton of competition unfortunately). I found myself waiting for the tram outside and remembered this place,  I hadn't been in at least 7 years,  maybe 10...I used to work nearby but otherwise am rarely on this corner.

Not a huge selection of books, and yes, it's incredibly American,  down to the credit card machine asking for tips! Service seemed fine for me...but maybe I'm biased

Cute bookstore and cafe ☕️
This place is 2 in one ☝🏼 one side is a book store and the other a cafe/ bagel place 🥯
You can get your coffee and sit in the bookstore to drink it ❤️ Vibes were really cute and it was quite full! Still can recommend for a quick stop ☕️🥯

It's a really cool bookstore with a great selection of (mostly) books in English. The bagel I tried was delicious, as was the hummus. My only problem on that day was the guy at the counter taking the food and drink orders. It was a crazy hot day and I asked for a couple of glasses with ice cubes for the drinks I was paying (which are kept in an open refrigerator and, at least on that day, were not cold at all). This guy had a really unpleasant attitude and asked if I *really* needed the glasses with ice cubes. Totally unnecessary and uncalled for.
