A random wander to find dinner, and the wonders of Yelp, got me here. It was my birthday and I wanted somewhere nice but I struck gold! Inside it's a nice dimly lit space, dark wood tables, exposed brick walls, and felt classy without being opulent, and dark without being dingy. Very speakeasy kinda feel to it. I ordered a beer whilst I checked the menu, and ended up going for one of the specials, pork loin in cider sauce with braised sprouts and garlic mash. OH MY HEAVENS, what a fantastic plate of food! I ordered a White Russian as 'dessert' and that was perfect (I may have ordered a second). I was there reasonably early in the evening but by the time I left - and the staff were in no rush, I think I could've sat there all night - it was pretty much full. The staff were busy but never seemed rushed and whilst it was a little more expensive than simple pub food, this is very much a 'pay what you get' kinda place. Next time I'm in Berlin, this will definitely be one of the places I'll revisit.

I like this place. They certainly know how to make and serve cocktails. And many wanna be cocktail bars in Berlin should study the drink menu here, the presentation, proper glass use, ice cubes galore! Nice staff. Good eats

Found this place online and decided to give it a try since we where living at Ku'damm and theres not a whole lot of options around when it comes to american inspired bars with supposedly good burgers. Had the deluxe version with cheese and bacon and fries at 16,5 €. The patty itself had great steak taste to it and where grilled perfect and the lettuce, cheese and bacon where fine too. What really brought the burger down from a 4 star to a 3 star was the pre-fabricated bread that was not up to par with the rest of this nice tasting burger. Talked to the canadian owner (who was very nice and friendly) about the burger and what i found to be bad bread. He said he knows it not as good as the rest of the burger and that he is constantly looking for a baker to do a good "home made" burger bun but that its really hard finding a baker like that in Berlin. Anyway the burger and fries where good as where the cold german beer and the cocktails. Friendly staff and nice looking bar makes this a place i would come back to. Another short note is that the price of the burger was roughly 5 € or 30% higher then the burger at "The Bird" we had the next day. Even do it was a bit on the sloppy side it was a better burger overall at a much lower price. So i think a price adjustment down a few euros would be good for business.

What should I say... This is my favorite place for a good evening in Berlin. Good place for having dinner with friends as well as with your family or just drinking beer while watching soccer games. The waiters are always friendly and try to fulfill your extras. The food is always very good, especially the burgers. They also offer a great variety of cocktails and beers. Always worth a visit!

I wined and dined at Juleps last night and I can honestly only give praise to what was a fantastic evening. Complemented by the excellent waiting staff, the cocktails and food was simply divine. My partner in crime decided to divulge in a Julep Special burger which from the smile on her face, I can safely assume it was a thumbs up on her behalf. I personally went for the Chicken Clubhouse. What a delightful meal it was, from the American style fries to the tenderness of the chicken, it's safe to say that Juleps does the classic American burgers justice. All in all my overall experience of Juleps is an overwhelmingly positive one. The ambiance of the place really did give it a classic New York feel to it and I would not hesitate for a second to recommend it to anybody. Big thanks Juleps, will be seeing you soon.

Juleps is justifiably popular for the service and cocktails, although I think one can get rather better cocktails elsewhere but probably not served with such friendliness. The atmosphere is American and the place is owned by a Canadian who has done his best to recreate a Chicago diner experience. The menu is not overly complicated but the food is not at all bad and portions are rather generous. Again, the service is very friendly and pleasant and they do come over a few times to check that all is well. It is certainly a gregarious place to meet with friends for a bite and a slurp or two of the cocktails, and certainly one of the better places in Berlin to chill out.

Absolutely amazing. The food was very good. Service is excellent with natural smiling and service minded staff. Background music is cool jazz-funk with perfect volume level. Really relaxing atmosphere and fancy place. I'll definitely come back :)
