One of (yet) not so many hipster cafes/bars in Moabit. They have everything necessary to be one for sure: all different and old chairs, old lamp stoves, vegan food, etc. The coffee is good thouh, the staff is friendly, they have some interesting beer (which I personally dont like: too sweet) but also several known brands in bottles. I liked the food too - I tried the soup of the day which was also 'BIO' (maybe even vegan :) The prices are in the higher range I would say, I mean it is Moabit not Mitte!

We had breakfast here to days in a row while visiting Berlin. The menu was hilarious! You'll need to see it to understand the humor. The coffee was great, the breads and cheeses were exceptional in the outside dining area was quaint.

This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been in Moabit. I was here with a foodiefriend for a late afternoon drink. We were welcomed in a jovial mood and entered through the personally by the staff opened door into the extraordinary room. It is equipped with vintage furniture, many interesting artworks on wall or ceiling and not forgetting good-humored and smart-looking bartenders. Our first impression was exclusively pleasant. The card offers a large choice of hot and cold drinks as fresh tea or cocktails. In addiction there is also cake, some snacks or breakfast but I would say it's rather a location to drink than to eat. I tried the Chai Latte and my foodiefriend took the Hot Orange with Ginger, which was converted in Hot Lemon with Ginger (one of the hat-boys asked first, if he should go and buy oranges or if lemon is also ok). The hot lemon was a bit too sour but definitely very healthful, Chai Latte was not too sugary and after my fancy. We enjoyed our drinks in a loose and pleasurable atmosphere with nice relaxed sound in the background (Good job!). Next time, I will take out my foodies for some drinks there, so be prepared! +++ Cake was good +++ Waitress was friendly --- Took the waitress approx. 15min to get or orders (way to slow processes) and another 8 to serve two coffee-like drinks and two pieces of cake --- Latte macchiato in the wrong glasses (way to small, like half-size of usual) --- They didn't type our orders into their tablets. So in order to pay I had to name all the things we had again.

Coffee tastes like warm water, unfriendly staff. Furniture is not quite stable, even for Berlin-style level. I guess they can really only profit from lack of competition in the area.
