Thin and crackling skin with juicy meat.
The chicken leg (lemon and thyme seasoned) was cooked perfectly.
Pickled eggs were interesting.
Was looking for a quick lunch and wasn’t expecting much but this was very impressive!
Service was not as bad as some of the reviews here but I did come for a late lunch at 2pm.

Came at a rather busy period and it exposed a certain disarray in how the operation is structured.

Just getting an order in was quite the ordeal and required many iterations back and forth, but in the end the person serving us figured things out. Sadly the beer flight option was not available to us for some reason, while others had no problem getting it.

Anyway we settled for a pale, an ipa and a hazy and they were all quite ok. The half chicken with a large sallad was an absolute delight though. Moist, tender and packed with flavour. I’ve never managed to eat half a chicken in my life, but here it was too tasty to leave anything behind. Finger lickin’ good as they say.

This bar is located inside KaDeWe at Die Sechste food floor. I had the opportunity to try their beer tasting which was great! You get to try 5 of their local beers for just 10 euro.

I would definitely come back and it was a great introduction to the BRLO brand which I always saw but I never had the opportunity to try.
