Pretty fun experience. Showcased are consoles of all ages. However as expected there are plenty of Arcade machines and consoles to be tested. The museum itself is rather small, so times passes by playing rather than walking. Toilets are inside. We stayed there 90 minutes roughly, but that will be highly individual.
The staff is nice.

One recommendation: When more people entered oxygen in arcade machine rooms felt quite limited. Maybe there can be a solution for it.

Without a doubt the best museum I’ve visited ever! I expected it’d take 1.5-2 hours to get around but I think we were there around 3 in the end, it was just so much fun!

There was a mix of nostalgia from games I’d played or been aware of growing up, and stuff that pre-dates me by a good 30-40 years, it was so interesting to see how games have developed over the years, and to get to play hands on with some of what was there.

Especially interesting were some of the modern games for retro consoles, particularly Micro Mages and Rom Check Fail.

We spent a good chunk of time in the arcade and can see how it’s easy to get drawn in! Something just hit different playing on those machines that you know modern emulation wouldn’t do justice to unfortunately.

Would highly recommend a visit to anyone able to get there, and will likely go back if I’m ever in the area again

Personally, I felt really nostalgic once I entered this museum. Everything related to the history of videogame is kept with great care, passion and respect. I also learned many insight which I was unaware of regarding consoles, productions etc.

Inside the museum it is possible to try and have fun with many classic games of the past: from the original Donkey Kong, to Chrash Bandicoot and many other.

Definite worth the visit.

Gamer and computer lovers this is a place to visit. We stayed 1h and 1/2 but I would recommend 2h easily.
The museum is well designed, there is a lot to see and to learn and you can play as well.
This place can also be visited with children which are old enough to play so you can show them how games and computers were at the beginning 😆.
