Outstanding Hotel with Exceptional Service

My stay at the JW Marriott Hotel Berlin was top-notch. From check-in to check-out, the service was flawless—professional, attentive, and always a step ahead.

The entire team, from reception to housekeeping and lounge staff, delivers outstanding hospitality. Filip Eriksson in the lounge deserves special mention—his professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail make every visit a pleasure.

The breakfast buffet is extensive and high-quality, offering everything for a perfect start to the day. The hotel itself combines modern comfort with elegant design, making it an ideal place to relax.

Looking forward to my next stay—absolutely recommended for anyone who values premium service and a top-tier hotel experience.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at this hotel. The service at the front desk is impeccable. I was greeted very warmly and offered some incentives for my stay. I loved the renovated rooms with the heated floors in the bathroom. I also loved the sauna. Everything from this hotel was an outstanding experience. Very clean and modern, most of all, the best service ever. Highly recommend staying here.

The staff is like a warm welcome home. I lost a ring which I luckily found, but even the concierge helped look. The first room we stayed in wasn’t very clean but the next day we got a new room.

Elena La Roche was the highlight of our breakfast, being so helpful and giving us tips on what to do. Thank you for having us at the Marriott!

Absolutely stellar experience.
The hotel is incredible, the staff are extremely helpful and the breakfast food was to die for. And oh how I loved the pianist that plays at the lounge. I will definitely come back. JW Marriots are always such a good choice

We stayed at the JW Marriott Berlin again after a year to check on the progress. The hotel has now been under the Marriott brand for five years and officially a JW Marriott for over two, but sadly, most rooms are still unchanged since the old Maritim days—tired, outdated, and not even minor upgrades like new artwork. It feels disappointing, especially under a luxury brand like JW Marriott.

On the plus side, all public areas (lobby, restaurant, executive lounge, etc.) have been fully renovated and are now beautiful and up to brand standards. Breakfast at The Market was a highlight—great food, fresh buffet, and amazing service. Mr. Bömer and his team do an amazing job.
BAR26 was friendly and welcoming. The Executive Lounge team stood out, especially Mrs. Schneider and Mrs. La Roche—top-notch hospitality!
This time we did not try the JW Steakhouse.

Service overall has improved a lot. The new GM seems to have brought structure and warmth to the team. Check-in was smooth, and check-out with Mr. Hartmann was one of the best we’ve had in a long time.

The location is a bit quiet—15 minutes’ walk to Potsdamer Platz, and not much nightlife or local vibe around. Good if you’re driving, but not ideal if you rely on public transport.

In short: amazing staff, beautiful public spaces, but outdated rooms that don’t live up to the JW Marriott name. If you’re okay with that and want a good rate, it’s worth considering. Just don’t expect true JW luxury in the rooms—yet.
