Personal hotel with good and friendly service. Something different comparing to big chains, very welcomed. Rooms personally decorated with small, nice touches. To me, bed was little bit too soft. Only minus for not working safe, but that was not a problem. Super good breakfast.

I went to Berlin with two girlfriends and we stayed at this wonderful hotel.  We shared a room, which worked out really well and was easily big enough for all three of us.  One slept in the large double while the other two had a single each up on the gallery.  The decor is fantastic with a modern boho feel and the toiletries in the bathroom were extensive and all eco-friendly.  It’s a great location and we found our way to the places we wanted to go via buses and trains easily.  The staff were all very friendly.  A special mention for the restaurant, which was excellent.  The sommelier was very knowledgeable and the service all round was fantastic.  I will definitely try to stay there if I visit again.

Best stay ever - I booked a weekend with 12 friends to celebrate my birthday and all the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were all looked after, gave us suggestions of where to go, and welcomed us every morning with the biggest smile! The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, and I appreciated the eco friendly approach. I will definitely go back!

Our stay at Lulu Guldsmeden Hotel was truly memorable! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality stood out—special thanks to Ms. Chris, whose warm and attentive care made us feel like part of the family. A huge shoutout also to the gentleman who served us coffee; his gentleness and attentiveness were remarkable, a refreshing experience compared to what we’ve encountered in Hamburg.

The hotel’s eco-friendly philosophy is evident in every detail, from the sustainable toiletries to the thoughtfully designed interiors. Breakfast was delightful, and the overall atmosphere perfectly blended Nordic sleekness with Balinese charm. While the bed could have been more supportive, and the lack of shower cabins in the bathrooms required some extra caution, these minor inconveniences were far outweighed by the exceptional service and ambiance.

Lulu Guldsmeden is a gem in Berlin, and we will definitely return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a cozy, welcoming retreat in the heart of the city!
