We arrived there a Monday around 5pm I think.
The queue was very long then I asked two young guys who just had picked their Sandwich if it was worth the wait. They had one bite, smiled and said "yes!"

So we waited, it was cold, we waited almost one hour, we bought two sandwich per person. Ate the first one directly in the Subway while it was hot and the second one later in the night.

It was pretty good, if I come back to Berlin I will try another spot though

One of the unnecessary time waste of my life! Arrived to the line at 15.46, picked up my order at 17.57. The chicken döner is quality but a regular one. There are better options in Kreuzberg. The gemüse döner is something else (although it feels like stuffed bread with vegetables). They are the most slow food business I’ve experienced, stalling people on purpose, taking 10 minutes for one customer only. Definitely not worth the wait :)

The time I would wait maximum again:

The best kebap i tried so far. Even it’s not my kind of cuisine, I went to Berlin so I had to try the popular Mustafa’s Kebap. The meat and the veggies match really good. The quality is nice. The only bad thing is the long wait. I’d recommend to go early.

The chicken and bread here are absolutely amazing—fresh and flavorful! However, I recommend keeping the sandwich simple with just garlic sauce, lettuce, and pickles instead of the fully dressed option. Mustafa’s Gemüse Kebab used to be my favorite kebab spot ever. Coming all the way from the Netherlands, we knew exactly when to go to avoid the long lines. We would always order two kebabs each, sometimes having them for breakfast and other times as a late-night snack. The memory of enjoying the perfect kebab for just 3 euros (back in the day; now it’s €7,10) still lingers as one of my fondest food experiences.

Unfortunately, the flavor and quality have declined. The kebab just doesn’t hit the same way anymore. The dash of lemon no longer gives that refreshing kick, the meat is not as flavorful, and the bread has become dry. My partner and I recently returned to Berlin and tried it again, only to look at each other and nod in disappointment. This kebab just isn’t the same anymore.

I don’t mind paying a more for a good meal, especially at a beloved spot like Mustafa’s, but it’s disappointing when the quality doesn’t match what it once was. Mustafa’s Gemüse Kebab no longer holds the same place in my heart—and my taste buds—as it used to.
