Einfach unser Lieblingsrestaurant seit bald 2 Jahren. Ob es die Menüs sind, die regelmäßig wechseln, ob es mal a la Carte gibt oder auch das alljährliche Gänse-Essen, es ist immer erste Klasse, sehr gute Qualität und auch tolle Kreativität. Benjamin hat da für Brandenburg (nicht nur die Stadt) etwas geschaffen, was man in der Region leider viel zu selten sieht, Wert legen auf Qualitativ hochwertiges Essen und eine abwechslungsreiche Karte. Der Preis ist dafür absolut angemessen und nicht überteuert. Da ich auch einmal bei einem Kochkurs dort dabei war, habe ich auch gesehen, wie viel Arbeit in solchem Essen steckt, also Hut ab!

Simply our favorite restaurant for almost 2 years. Whether it's the menus that change regularly, whether there's a la carte or the annual goose meal, it's always first class, very good quality and also great creativity. Benjamin has created something for Brandenburg (not just the city) that is unfortunately far too rarely seen in the region, placing emphasis on high-quality food and a varied menu. The price is absolutely reasonable and not overpriced. Since I once took part in a cooking class there, I also saw how much work goes into such food, so hats off to you!

Eine außergewöhnliche Küche mit charmanten Leuten, und Essen für das Auge und den Gaumen. Gutes braucht eben Zeit, daher sollte man sich etwas Zeit mitbringen, wer das komplette Menü bestellt. Die Auszeichnungen sprechen für Qualität und Fürsorge für den Gast. Genau das braucht auch Brandenburg an der Havel, ein Restaurant, welches durch seine ausgezeichnete Küche und Bedienung glänzt.

Das Problem liegt im Kern

Wie es der Zufall wollte, haben wir nach dem Abendessen in der Stadt ein Dessert essen wollen. Auf Google haben wir gesehen, dass offiziell Kuchen im Restaurant Inspektorenhaus serviert wird und höchstwahrscheinlich in der Qualität die wir mögen.

Beim Hineingehen wurden wir bereits von einer Mitarbeiter mit angespannten und nervösen Blick beäugt. Auf die Frage, ob noch zwei Plätze frei wären, wurde laienhaft vor uns zwei Gästen mit der Küche darüber verhandelt, wie in einer provinziellen Schiffskajüte. Nach der Tischzusage haben wir ehrlich mitgeteilt, dass wir Lust hätten auf ein abendliches Dessert mit Cafe, vielleicht aber auch einen Wein, was wir uns zusätzlich nur gedacht haben.

Uns wurde daraufhin der Tisch verwehrt mit der Begründung, dass man nur komplette Gänge/ Menüs servieren würde.
Unserer Meinung nach könnte man den Hinweis gegenüber den Gästen trotzdem mit Klasse geben; weil auch die Mitarbeiter am Randbezirk der pulsierenden Metropolen der Welt sich zu benehmen wissen sollten, in diesem Fall sind nämlich die vielen Aufkleber an der Tür und Auszeichnungen an der Wand wirkungslos.

Walking in, we were already eyed by a staff member with a tense and nervous look. When we asked if there were still two seats available, they amateurishly negotiated with the kitchen in front of us two guests, like in a provincial ship's cabin. After the table promise we have honestly communicated that we would have desire on an evening dessert with cafe, perhaps also a wine, what we have thought in addition only.

We were then denied the table because they would only serve complete courses/menus.
In our opinion, one could still give the hint to the guests with class; because also the employees at the outskirts of the pulsating metropolises of the world should know how to behave, in this case, namely the many stickers on the door and awards on the wall are ineffective.
