We passed by during a walk from Kirschzarten. We didn't have reservations but could still come in to eat. It was the most amazing food I've had in a long time. Service was excellent and very friendly as well. Just amazing. I highly recommend eating here of you can.

Very friendly hotel. Staff did everything to accommodate our requests and they helped us to translate the menu into English. Location is amazing, so beautiful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Couldn't have asked for a better experience- thank you!

The Sternen Post in Oberried is one of the best places you can go to enjoy real local and regional food of the Baden area in Southern Germany. Simply cooked to perfection, Chef Lutz has  elevated traditional recipes to new levels, whilst never forgetting the roots of some of the very typical dishes of Baden. You will find many classics as well as new dishes. No Shi-Shi, no trends, nothing on your plate which should not be there. They just canceled our reservation for Christmas Day that we made a month ago without a real reason except to say that they had a big group take our spot. No apologies, no gift certicate for leaving 13 people without a spot to eat for Christmas.
