A short walk from Grunewald station to a very pleasant lake, sandy bottom, clear cool water for a hot day.
One note of caution there are a few clothes optional swimmers. But it's Germany.

Really lovely spot for a lake swim close enough to Berlin city centre for an afternoon trip.
The lake has a floating pontoon in the middle which you can swim out to and watch the shore of the lake and sunbathe.
It's primarily a naturist place though but no-one is obliged to completely disrobe, a few keep their modesty 😂

Looks like it’s a nudist place. I wasn't prepared for that kind of entertainment.
You will definitely need a bike or you will walk at least 30 min. To have a repellent is a must have! There is no direction signs so you will need a gps. The lake itself is nice but I wouldn’t enter the water at all cost 😅

I left the train at the station (S Bahn Grunewald). Then I enjoyed the walk to the lake. It is lovely to visit in warm spring and summer days. Mixed visitors between locals, internationals, youngsters, and older people.

This is a very clean and very beautiful lake with incredibly picturesque castles and chapels around  the shore. There are some beautiful old oak trees to wander between and the local restaurants are good for a nice meal after a long walk.
