Ein netter Gasthof, als kleiner Ableger vom großen Reuter. Das Essen war passabel, allerdings ohne Überraschungen. Leider etwas unaufmerksam im Service. Bei leerem Glas nicht nachgefragt, Bei Anforderungen der Getränkekarte nicht nachgefragt. Bei Bestellung Wein zunächst vergessen. Dann Salat zum Schnitzel sehr spät, erst auf Nachfrage gebracht. Der war auch nicht überzeugend, eher saures Dressing und etwas ertrunken. Ein einfacher Gurkensalat wäre besser gewesen zum Schnitzel. Insgesamt solide, aber keine Reise von Bielefeld wert. Eine Ausnahme: der Hausrotwein Ferdinand war sehr überzeugend. Bei zweiter Nachfrage konnte ich ihn auch zum Mitnehmen kaufen.

A nice inn, as a small offshoot of the large Reuter. The food was passable, but without any surprises. Unfortunately the service was a bit inattentive. Not asked if the glass was empty, not asked if the drink menu was requested. When ordering wine, forget it first. Then salad with the schnitzel very late, only brought when asked. It wasn't convincing either, it was more of a sour dressing and a bit drowned. A simple cucumber salad would have been better with the schnitzel. Overall solid, but not worth the trip from Bielefeld. One exception: the house red wine Ferdinand was very convincing. On second request I was able to buy it to take away.

Jeder Gang war sehr, sehr gut. Da kann jemand richtig gut kochen und weiss, was er tut. Die Speisekarte ist nicht sehr umfangreich, was aber oft, wie auch in diesem Fall, für beste Qualität sorgt. Das Ambiente ist modern und gemütlich. Wir haben uns an dem Abend sehr wohl gefühlt.

Every course was very, very good. Someone can cook really well and knows what they're doing. The menu is not very extensive, but this often, as in this case, ensures the best quality. The atmosphere is modern and cozy. We felt very comfortable that evening.

Ein schönes Restaurant im Herzen, Rheda-wiedenbrücks. Das Ambiente ist sehr modern stylish und in Summe einfach ansprechend.

Die Menükarte ist wechselnd. Erstaunlich ist, dass das Restaurant keine Salate anbietet. Das Wienerschnitzel war lecker. In der Kreisliga haben wir aber schon bessere gegessen. Der Beilagensalat war ein bunter Salat mit angenehmen Dressing.

Der Service ist in diesem Restaurant wirklich sehr gut. Man bekommt ein Weißweinkühler. Es wird regelmäßig nachgeschenkt, das ist wirklich Spitzenklasse.

Preislich liegt das Lokal im oberen Regal und ist daher leider nicht für jedermann.

The menu changes. What's surprising is that the restaurant doesn't offer salads. The Wienerschnitzel was delicious. But we've eaten better in the district league. The side salad was a colorful salad with a pleasant dressing.

The service is really very good in this restaurant. You get a white wine cooler. The drinks are replenished regularly, which is really top class.

In terms of price, the restaurant is on the top shelf and is therefore unfortunately not for everyone.

Nie wieder !!!

Wir wurden vom Oberkellner empfangen, der verschwitzt war und ein schmuddeliges Poloshirt trug.
Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant war nicht einladend und die Tische standen zu eng beieinander.

Zur Vorspeise hatte ich Parmesan mit Chutney bestellt.
Ich bekam auf einem kleinen Holzbrett Parmesanwürfel mit nur einem kleinen Teelöffel Cutney.

Alles sehr lieblos.

Die Hauptspeisen waren mehr als mangelhaft !

Meine Kalbspolpette für 32€ konnte ich nicht essen.
Die gekochten Fleichbällchen schmeckten so intensiv nach irgendwelchen Kräutern, dass ich mir dachte, dann esse ich eben die Beilagen, doch weit gefehlt, das Gemüse war zerkocht und die Griesstücke waren hart und geschmacklos.

Auf meine Bitte hin, dass Gericht zurück gehen zu lassen, bekam ich die Antwort, ich müsse es trotzdem bezahlen.

Das Schnitzel „Wiener Art“ meines Mannes, war absolut nicht
goldgelb herausgebacken, so dass sich die Panade wellt. (siehe Foto)
Die Bratkartoffeln waren total versalzen.

Wir wollten uns einen schönen Abend machen und das Essen genießen, dessen Köchin mit einem Michelin Stern ausgezeichnet ist und wurden so enttäuscht.

We were greeted by the head waiter, who was sweaty and wearing a grubby polo shirt.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was not inviting and the tables were too close together.

For a starter I ordered parmesan with chutney.
I got cubes of parmesan on a small wooden board with just a small teaspoon of cutney.

All very loveless.

The main courses were more than inadequate!

I couldn't eat my veal polpette for €32.
The cooked meatballs tasted so intensely of herbs that I thought I'd just eat the side dishes, but I was far from it, the vegetables were overcooked and the semolina pieces were hard and tasteless.

When I asked to have the dish returned, I was told that I still had to pay for it.

My husband's schnitzel was “Viennese style” at all
Baked until golden yellow so that the breading curls. (see photo)
The fried potatoes were totally over salted.

We wanted to have a nice evening and enjoy the food, whose chef has a Michelin star, and we were so disappointed.

Hervorragende Location für leckeres Essen in einem sehr schönem Ambiente.
Zum Essen gab es einen guten Wein.
Allerdings war ich über das Bier irritiert. Es gab nur diese eine Biermarke. Ich nenne keinen Herstellername, aber meines Erachtens, eine der geschmacksqualitativ schlechteren Biermarken... Klar, über Geschmack lässt sich streiten. Ich empfand dann dennoch das Preis- Leistungsgefüge an dieser Stelle absolut unpassend.
Das gute Essen machte die Enttäuschung beim Bier auf jeden Fall wet.

There was good wine with the meal.
However, I was irritated by the beer. There was only this one brand of beer. I won't mention the manufacturer's name, but in my opinion it's one of the worse tasting beer brands... Sure, you can argue about taste. I still found the price-performance structure to be absolutely inappropriate at this point.
The good food definitely made up for the disappointment with the beer.
