I put this place on my list thanks to TO—not always the most reliable source, but this time it paid off. Green Door has that cozy, warm vibe that makes you feel like you’ve found a hidden gem. Definitely a local spot, the kind where you can sit back, sip a drink, and unwind.

Sophisticated cocktail bar with a changing menu. You can only get in if someone opens the green door. The cocktails are very complex and interesting, with very strong and lighter combinations and notes. The service is fantastic. The ambience is pleasant, slightly jazzy and relaxed, which appeals to both young and old.

We tried 3 different cocktails on our visit, which were Certainly Marigold, Coffee & Cigarettes and Voltaire. The flavor profile of Coffee & Cigarettes was really interesting and unique, and the marigold was a delicious fruity cocktail. Voltaire also had a complex but balanced flavor profile. A reservation might be useful, even though we could get in without a problem. The service was slow for the first cocktail round, but was better by the end. This is a great cocktail place I would recommend to everyone.

What a find! This is a bar that treats cocktail-making as an art form - I don't think we've experienced anything like it before. We were lucky enough to taste a cocktail made by a guest mixer, which was unreal. Laid-back but friendly vibe, and great that it's no longer a smoking bar.
