Wir waren gestern mit 6 Personen hier essen. Der Service war sehr gut und aufmerksam, das Essen sehr schmackhaft.
Im Little John's wird einem gehobene Küche geboten, was sich auch in den Preisen widerspiegelt. Die Weinpreise sind  allerdings sehr überteuert. Über 10 Euro...für ein Glas Primitivo...
Die Stühle im Außenbereich fand ich persönlich sehr unbequem, da könnte man vielleicht an der Ausstattung noch ein wenig arbeiten. Innen kann ich es nicht beurteilen.

I personally found the chairs in the outdoor area very uncomfortable, so perhaps the furnishings could be worked on a bit. I can't judge the inside.

Klein, aber oho!
Ein recht kleines Restaurant, mit tollem, gemütlichen Ambiente.
Als allererstes:
Das Essen ist wirklich unglaublich gut.
Wir hatte 4 verschiedene Hauptgerichte und jedes Einzelne war ein Fest. 👌
Zudem waren alle Mitarbeiter super zuvorkommend, ohne aufdringlich zu sein.
Es gibt tolle (tatsächlich bezahlbare) Menus,  oder auch einzelne Speisen, die man wie üblich auswählen kann.
Wichtig:
Auf jeden Fall reservieren.

Unterm Strich eine 100% Empfehlung.

A fairly small restaurant with a great, cozy atmosphere.
First of all:
The food is really incredibly good.
We had 4 different main courses and each one was a feast. 👌
In addition, all the employees were super accommodating without being intrusive.
There are great (actually affordable) menus, or individual dishes that you can choose as usual.
Important:
Definitely make a reservation.

Bottom line: 100% recommendation.

Wir haben das 5 Gang Menü gewählt.
Zunächst wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen und platziert. Das Amuse Bouch - eine knusprig gebackene Garnele machte neugierig auf Mehr.
Der 1. Gang war für mich als Nicht-Ziegenkäsefreund eine echte Challange. Der Käse war halt nicht einer von denen die lasch nach nic mehr schmecken, sondern ein gereifter. Aber im Zusammenspiel mit den Zwetschken ergab das ganze eine ungemein rundes und stimmiges Geschmackserlebnis.
Der 2. Gang ein Gurkensüppchen war ebenfalls eine Herausforderung Gurken geben mir halt lange Pfötchen. Hier aber nix!
Der 3. Gang war ein Zander auf einem Risotto. Lecker, fein gegarter Fisch und ein passendes Risotto.
Der 4. Gang war eine Maispourlade. Sehr würzig, zart, saftig - richtig gut.
Die Nachspeise war ok, lecker, aber vielleicht nicht ganz auf dem hohen Niveau der Gänge vorher.
Die Weinbegleitung war sowohl alkoholisch wie auch ohne Alkohol sehr fein auf die Speisen abgestimmt.
Der Service rundete diesen tollen Abend durch seine kompetente, sehr freundliche und angenehme Art stimmig ab.
Ein Wort zum Ambiente, dass für uns ebenfalls irgendwie zu der ganzen unkomplizierten, offenen Art passten - das Schwedische Einrichtungshaus lässt schön grüssen.
Wir haben hier einen tollen Abend verbracht und werden mit Sicherheit wiederkommen.
Update 28.02.2025:
Wir sind wiedergekommen und haben spontan einen Tisch bekommen. Es war bumsvoll - und wir froh dass es geklappt hat.
Meine beiden Gänge waren absolut toll.
Saku Thuna als Vorspeise war in allen Einzelkomponenten ein Träumchen. Den Thuna mit der Nusskruste, dazu die schwarzen Belugalinsen, Wasabimayonnaise und zu allem Überfluss auch noch eine kleine Nocke Zitronensorbet. Alles zusammen in Kombi - wow.
Dann als Kontrapunkt zu der feinen Vorspeise - Oma‘s Frikadelle mit Endivien-Kartoffelstampf. Respekt an die Küche ein einfaches Gericht, auf ein solches Niveau zu heben. Die Schmelzzwiebeln und die Bratensoße mit dem Bremsklötzchen ein Gedicht. Und mit dem Endivienstampf wurde ein Endivienverweigerer bekehrt.

Der Service gewohnt freundlich, kompetent und nahbar.

We chose the 5 course menu.
First of all we were warmly welcomed and seated. The Amuse Bouch - a crispy baked shrimp made me curious for more.
The first course was a real challenge for me as a non-goat cheese fan. The cheese wasn't one of those that doesn't taste like anything anymore, but rather a mature one. But in combination with the plums, the whole thing created an incredibly well-rounded and harmonious taste experience.
The second course, a cucumber soup, was also a challenge. Cucumbers give me long paws. But nothing here!
The 3rd course was a pike perch on a risotto. Delicious, finely cooked fish and a matching risotto.
The 4th course was a corn pourlade. Very spicy, tender, juicy - really good.
The dessert was ok, tasty, but perhaps not quite at the high level of the previous courses.
The wine accompaniment was very finely matched to the food, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
The service rounded off this great evening with its competent, very friendly and pleasant manner.
A word about the ambience, which for us also somehow fit with the whole uncomplicated, open style - the Swedish furniture store sends its regards.
We had a great evening here and will definitely come back.
Update February 28, 2025:
We came back and spontaneously got a table. It was awesome - and we're glad it worked.
Both of my courses were absolutely great.
Saku Tuna as a starter was a dream in all its individual components. The nut-crusted tuna, black beluga lentils, wasabi mayonnaise and, to top it all off, a small dollop of lemon sorbet. Everything together in combination - wow.
Then as a counterpoint to the fine starter - Grandma's meatball with endive and mashed potatoes. Respect to the kitchen for taking a simple dish to such a level. The melted onions and the gravy with the brake block are a poem. And with the endive stomp, an endive objector was converted.

The service is friendly, competent and approachable as usual.
