Rooms need work to do... in this moment I can c repairs being conducted on entire building.. but if you want to eat delicious food made by excellent shef you have to čime to eat here... meals are pretty expensive but the taste and the quality match the price

The Best Restaurant Ever!!! OMG, you can' t miss this one, it has to be on everyones Bucket list. We ate just a few days again here & it has changed, sadly. The food is still the highlight & thankfully still very good, only at a much higher priece point & smaller portions. TheService was non existing, it was very sloopy & unproffesionel & also super arrogant for a small town restaurant( Denzlingen in the Black Forest). What a dissapoinment, Son took over from his Dad & of course has a different vision, it just doesn't work for us anymore after going there for the better part of 30 years. Not a ' Bucket List destination anymore. I feel sad & nostalgic  about it. Bye, 'Good old Rebstock Stube'.

Als ich von der Absicht hörte, die gute alte Rebstockstube grundlegend zu sanieren, bekam ich einen Schreck. Sollte wirklich eines der authentischsten und urigsten Restaurants im Badischen dem Modernisierungswahn zum Opfer fallen? So schlimm ist es nicht geworden, denn der optische Zuschnitt blieb - trotz einiger einschneidender Veränderungen - erhalten.
Qualitativ ist eine ansteigende Entwicklung zu verbuchen. Es wird abwechslungsreicher und moderner gekocht, zuweilen sternemäßig "auf den Punkt". Höchst lobenswert ist dabei das Mittagsangebot, das zwar gelegentlich etwas schlichter ausfällt, aber in der Gesamtausrichtung flott und zu fairen Konditionen daherkommt. Das Mittagsmenu wird durch einen reizvollen Ausschnitt aus dem Standardangebot ergänzt und sticht im Freiburger Umland sehr positiv hervor.

When I heard about the intention to completely renovate the good old Rebstockstube, I was shocked. Should one of the most authentic and rustic restaurants in Baden really fall victim to the modernization madness? It didn't get that bad because the visual layout remained the same - despite some drastic changes.
In terms of quality, there is an increasing development. The cooking is more varied and modern, sometimes to the point. The lunch menu is highly commendable, although it is occasionally a bit simpler, but overall it is quick and at fair prices. The lunch menu is supplemented by an attractive selection from the standard offering and stands out very positively in the Freiburg area.
