This is a quaint pub in Berlin where you can feel the past in the form of pictures and furnishings.  The food is very good, even if there is only chicken, sausages and potato salad or coleslaw.  the atmosphere in the restaurant was good.  The encounters were friendly and quick and there was plenty of beer on tap and bottles

Authentic interior design and nice atmosphere!Tasty chicken and side dishes! Highly recommend the potato salad!  Great bier! And the last but not least very friendly and carrying staff that unfortunately you don’t see often these days in berlin.

Great local spot. The menu is not in English but you don't really need it. You come here for the 1/2 chicken. The skin is crispy. The meat is juicy. Pair it with cole slaw or potato salad. Both are good. Be aware that the chicken takes a while to cook but it's worth the wait. Also note that they don't have knives. The chicken is quite hot when it comes out so you have to be careful pulling it apart with your fork and hands.

Absolutely brilliant, we loved everything about this restaurant.  Service was 5 star, Food 5 stars and the atmosphere and decor, 5 stars.
You will need to book if you want to come, but if you want a small taste of an old east Berlin restaurant, this is the place to come.  Have the Crispy Chicken it is delicious.  Good beer as well
