Amazing experience at Sawito. We decided to go for the menu a la carte.
We had the lobster soup and beef tartar for appetisers. Both were extremely tasty and had good servings.
For mains we both had the short rib, it could be cut with just a fork, the taste was on point. I did not care much for the sides, but I was very happy with the meat itself. I am not a huge fan of sourcraut but I though the one in this dish brought a very nice contrast to the meat.
Desert was creme brûlée, very well executed.

At the start we also got a one-biter of a pastry and a carrot filling. When I tasted that I knew I was going to like this restaurant. The pastry was thin and crunchy, the filling smooth. It was an amazing start.

We also got bread with butter and a parsley oil (I I remember correctly), was very nice.

Service was super kind and attentive, nothing but positive feedback on that side.

Would be happy to come back any day!

We had the 5-course menu with wine pairing. When I pay €375 for 2, I am expecting (close to) Michelin star quality food. Unfortunately that was not the case. The dishes were not refined, and the flavour combinations could not convince us. The veal cheeks were very wel prepared, the goat cheese dish on the other hand was a disaster.
If you don't arrive by car, the entrance is difficult to find. You need to go round the back on a dark street in, which feels like, the middle of nowhere.

One of the best restaurants I have ever seen, shocked it doesn’t have a Michelin start.

Fine dining Restaurant. I tried the Menu which was really well thought out. Balanced but sometimes also surprising, combining unexpected ingredients with multiple textures. I really enjoyed it. There is parking at the back of the restaurant. The staff was really helpful and assistive.
