I recently stayed at the Sheraton Offenbach Hotel in Frankfurt on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. My key didn't work, and I had to return to the desk TWICE to get it programmed correctly. It had been 100 degrees F that day and the air conditioning didn't seem to be working properly. I asked for and received a fan for the room. The fan helped somewhat but sweated all night. The refrigerator in the room didn't work, so I couldn't cool my water bottles. The shower drain was backed up and by the time I finished my shower I was standing in inches of soapy water. You could almost see through my bath towels they were so worn. This hotel needs to invest in some SERIOUS maintenance.

50 euro charge to check in one hour earlier than 4pm check in time.....and the room was ready. Had Bonvoy membership but it means nothing. Really nice repeat customer treatment

July 20, 2024: Nice room. Ok breakfast. Not safe. Unfortunately someone from outside snatched two bags and passports of our tour mates during breakfast while they were getting coffee. German police arrived but they have to wait till Monday to get US passports. This hotel needs to beef up their security. Not acceptable for an American brand hotel and a sad way to end a nice European tour.

clean, quiet ON the right side of the hotel, very temperamental WIFI designed to get you so frustrated so you'll throw in more money in to upgrade. So much of the off signals with their WIFI and then it just finally gave up as seen in attached pic. NO plugs at bedside to charge phone and Pad like most hotel these days Room AC made noice and just spit out more dust, No cool was coming out of the vent. First impression walking into my so already dated/sad room was A single flimsy pillow laying on top an old floppy tired mattress lined with plastic similar to a large wee wee pad. Gym has good amount of weight and room for ONE person at a time, two treadmills and bikes like decent but the windowless room is too muggy from no AC or ventilation.....just an old floor fan so if you happen to have an Oxygen-tank and a built in AC around your neck, It's a god place to work out for a few mins Shower nob is broken, can't get it to point to the right direction when the water is turned on. No electric kettle, tea, and coffee in room for guests like most decent hotels. Parking's €18, breakfast's €24 per person on top already cut throat rate we agreed to paid relying on for the misguided advertising pictures. The whole place is overpriced in every category and the sad thing is you can't have anything to show for or feel like it was worth it. Points Hotel chain at best!!!

Taken by itself, the Sheraton Offenbach is a nice hotel. Very modern architecture, decently sized rooms, clean facilities, friendly staff. That about ends the list of reasons to stay here. It's not located anywhere. You're in a pretty industrial district and the traffic up front on Berlinerstrasse is always backed up. There aren't a wide variety of restaurants nearby and the ones that are there aren't great. The saving grace is that you are only a couple blocks away from the local S-Bahn station. There is a very small fitness center on the lower level. Wi-Fi is available and incredibly expensive at €15/night. The business center has several PCs available but I was only able to get the internet access on one of them. The bar is pretty standard but the dinner service food in the restaurant is disappointing. Breakfasts were better but still probably one of the more underwhelming hotel breakfast buffets I've had in Germany. We stayed here only on our arrival night and the night before departure from Frankfurt Airport. The prices are reasonably affordable but all things considered, I'd rather stay elsewhere.

Not the best Sheraton hotel for sure. Don't get me wrong the staff was helpful and the hotel was clean but it's and older facility. No Platinum lounge and they don't comp you breakfast to make up for it. I will say this free WiFi in the lobby was handy and the hotel is close to quite a bit of different food options.

I lived here for a week and must say that the rooms are perfectly fine (if you nab one of their online offers). The restaurant is best avoided, there is much better in the area, and the staff are ok. Free internet is always a plus - if you are here for some sleep and want to check your emails every now and then, you will be well served. Breakfast is more than ok, good selection.
