Top quality restaurant.

Preis/Leistung stimmt hier gar nicht. Filet kommt als Schuhsohle daher und Beilage schnell in der Mikrowelle stark erhitzt. Sosse war eine Zumutung, jede Hausfrau serviert im Vergleich mit mehr Können als dieser Laden!

Price/performance is not right here at all. Fillet comes as a shoe sole and a side dish that is quickly heated in the microwave. Sauce was an imposition, every housewife served with more skill than this shop!

… und wieder ein wundervoller Abend im Rössle.
Eigentlich ist die Zusammenfassung „ wow, wow, wow“ immer noch untertrieben.
Ich kenne nur wenige Köche in Deutschland die vom Crossini zum Aperitif bis zum Eis am Ende des Dinners alles, wirklich alles, selbst machen. Das ganze in einer Qualität die auch erklärt warum das nahe gelegene 2-Sterne-Restaurant bei Überbuchung ihre Gäste gern an das Rössle verweist.
Auch gestern war wieder jeder Gang auf Sterne-Niveau.
Der Service von Inka, Jette und dem Team ist immer so, dass man sich sich den ganzen Abend wie in die Familie integriert fühlt.
Die Weinempfehlungen von Inka passen immer auf den Punkt.
Wie immer ist es nicht einfach nur ein Abend, es ist eine Auszeit, die einem einfach mehr gibt als nur einen tollen Abend.
Ich freue mich auf den nächsten Besuch in Brettach. Bernd und Inka reden nicht über Nachhaltigkeit, sie zeigen wie es gehen kann und das auf die leckerste Art und Weise die ich in Deutschland kenne.

Actually, the summary “wow, wow, wow” is still an understatement.
I only know a few chefs in Germany who make everything themselves, from the Crossini for the aperitif to the ice cream at the end of the dinner. The whole thing is of a quality that also explains why the nearby 2-star restaurant is happy to refer its guests to the Rössle when they are overbooked.
Yesterday too, every gear was at star level.
The service from Inka, Jette and the team is always such that you feel like you are integrated into the family all evening long.
Inka's wine recommendations are always on point.
As always, it's not just an evening, it's a time out that gives you more than just a great evening.
I look forward to my next visit to Brettach. Bernd and Inka don't talk about sustainability, they show how it can be done and in the tastiest way I know in Germany.

Waren jetzt wirklich schon öfters zu Gast und hatten immer schöne Abende. Bei unserem letzten Besuch jedoch wurden wir leider sehr enttäuscht. Wenn man als Restaurant nicht möchte das der Gast ein normales Gericht anstatt eines Menüs bestellt, sollte man dies einfach nicht anbieten. Portionsgrößen sind leider völlig auf das Konzept Menü ausgelegt. Preis Leistung leider nicht gerechtfertigt.

We've been guests several times now and have always had lovely evenings. Unfortunately, on our last visit we were very disappointed. If a restaurant doesn't want the guest to order a normal dish instead of a menu, then you simply shouldn't offer this. Unfortunately, portion sizes are entirely based on the menu concept. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio is not justified.
