Excellent experience. Tasteful in every way. Service at par with great food. Extensive wine menu, cocktails available as well. Degustation menu offered, but single options are available. Perfectly balanced menu to offer choices for all.
Upscale atmosphere in this hotel restaurant.
Parking available in the surrounding streets as well as park houses near by. If parking on the street pay at the machines to avoid parking tickets.

Had the absolute pleasure of dining in the Restaurant Goldener Karpfen this week. I had heard the restaurant has a good reputation for food, and this did not disappoint. Pictured here is the risotto with salmon and cod fillets, and the picture does not do it justice. Others in the group has the beef cheek (amazing) and the wild garlic pasta with shrimp (also recommended) and the boiled beef (probably a little less recommended than the rest). Prices were on the high side eg it was €30 for my dish, but the sheer quality of the food made up for the star I would have removed based on price otherwise. I would highly recommend based on this experience.
