Absolutely charming ambiance. Service was friendly; occasionally a tad slow but we didn’t care. Soups were absolutely delicious, as were the platters of cold cuts and sausages. Wine was excellent. A memorable meal

This is a tough one. It is difficult to describe the feeling of luxury and the sense of perfection. The lady that welcomed us was very charming and led us to our place. At first inside in the restaurant but later we got a place outside on one of the terraces. It was enchanting and so beautiful that it was almost a fairytale. With my view on one of the cabins, I was waiting for Snow White to show herself. The food was very good and looked beautifully.

Trust me, my words are not good enough. ☺️

If you are in the Mosel area, please do yourself a favor and check this place out.

The best German food I had in a long time, if not of all the times. The decor is beautiful, the courtyard is beautiful, food is very tasty and with fresh ingredients. I wish there was a smaller main dish option, because their soups on the next table looked delicious as well, would have loved to try both but portions were quite big - I could barely finish my main. But it was absolutely delicious.

Not everything that glitters is gold. This restaurant was an absolute disgrace from start to finish! We've deducted stars for the following:
- rude welcoming. There was nobody at reception when we arrived. Upon walking in someone came out and said "I was serving other customers". No apology for the wait and arrogant attitude from the older lady there
- menu is totally unreadable. The fancy writing is cute but very hard to decipher. No consideration for pensioners or people who have visual impairments
- the mixed appetiser was simply put DISGUSTING. Picture attached. For 25 euros the salad plate was bland and tasteless. Only 1 mozzarella and tomato skewer, thin slices of roast beef, canned mushrooms and some unseasoned vegetables for a shared platter of two? Absolute shame! When we complained the waitress' answer was "I will give your feedback to the kitchen". No reduction was given on the bill afterwards. 0 customer service.
- my mum's fish tasted sour and the spaghetti was dry. This had probably been cooked in the afternoon and left to dry. Her plate was cold too
- no consideration was given to dressing the plates either. Just thrown together. Even we could have done better!

I will be submitting a complaint to the Michelin Guide as this place is not worth it and will ruin your night. Avoid at all cost!

This place feels like a magical fairy land. Eating here is an experience not just for your taste buds but for your eyes and soul. Impeccable customer service. I was so enchanted by the place that i forgot to take pictures of the food i had. It's a massive old mill, with something happening in every nook and corner. Although a bit pricey, i think the experience is totally worth it.
