Absolutely the best restaurant I've been to in Berlin! Authentic, cozy, delicious food with huge portions, friendly staff and fast service! Everything is just as it should be!

We wanted to try some authentic German food, and while it was good, it wasn’t the best we’ve had. The service was quick and efficient, and the atmosphere was nice, though there were unfortunately quite a few insects around.

The place has traditional german dishes and the decoration is very cool. However, there were some dishes that I had no idea where they came from so I feel they’re not as authentic.

The apfel strudel was FANTASTIC though :)

The food was delicious and the beer even better.  We like that the location was close to so many attractions.  Go there hungry.  Portions were large.  You might even want to share portions.

The food was okay to quite good depending on the dish. Portions were large. The service was horrendous. We were forgotten about and then they tried to charge us for a bottle of water that we were never brought. Also it genuinely seemed like our waiter was high. He made a jerking off motion while taking my order, questioned our age, made a comment about our nationality then mocked us.
