Dass wir hier nicht schon viel früher mal gewesen sind, hat uns gestern Abend bei unserem ersten Besuch in diesem Haus ein wenig geärgert. Wir fanden ein sehr gutes Restaurant vor, dass unsere Erwartungen übertraf. Beim Eintreten wurde gefragt, ob wir drinnen oder draußen Platz nehmen  wollten und danach begann ein Service, der das gehobene Umfeld dieses Hauses klar betonte. Die Aperitifempfehlungen, darunter auch alkoholfreie waren treffsicher. Das teilweise hausgemachte Brot zum Apero wurde schnell eingesetzt und dann gewartet, bis ausgetrunken war, was ich besonders schätze.
Die Karte hält eine kleine Auswahl an À la carte-Gerichten vor und es wird ein Menü (3-Gang oder 4-Gang) angeboten. Wir starteten mit einem punktgenau gegarten Thunfisch-Tataki, danach folgte eine unspektakuläre Zitronengras-Curry-Suppe. Die Reh-Maultaschen mit grünem Spargel waren ein Highlight und das Dessert auf Zwetschgenrösterbasis ein Gaumenschmaus. Für alle vier Gänge gilt, dass die Tellersprache eher zurückhaltend ist.
Es gibt Weine aus einer großen Karte, für das gestrige Menü war die eingeschränktere Auswahl auf der Schänkekarte ausreichend. Bis hin zum Kaffee, zu dem noch eine kleine Nascherei gereicht wurde, war der Service professionell und auf die natürliche Art freundlich, gewürzt mit einer Prise Humor.
Die Innenausstattung ist einladend und top gepflegt.
Wir ziehen einen Stern bei "Ambiente" ab, weil unsere Entscheidung draußen zu sitzen mit einer außerordentlich hohen Straßenlärmbelästigung verbunden war.
Das ändert nichts daran, dass wir wiederkommen werden, wir müssen nur noch einen passenden Termin finden.

The fact that we hadn't been here much earlier left us a little annoyed last night on our first visit to this house. We found a very good restaurant that exceeded our expectations. When we entered we were asked whether we wanted to sit inside or outside and then a service began that clearly emphasized the upscale environment of this establishment. The aperitif recommendations, including non-alcoholic ones, were spot on. The partly homemade bread for the aperitif was served quickly and then waited until it was finished, which I particularly appreciate.
The menu offers a small selection of À la carte dishes and a menu (3-course or 4-course) is offered. We started with a perfectly cooked tuna tataki, followed by an unspectacular lemongrass curry soup. The venison ravioli with green asparagus was a highlight and the plum-roasted dessert was a culinary delight. For all four courses, the plate language is rather reserved.
There is a large menu of wines; for yesterday's menu, the more limited selection on the pub menu was sufficient. Right down to the coffee, which was accompanied by a small treat, the service was professional and naturally friendly, seasoned with a pinch of humor.
The interior is inviting and well maintained.
We deducted one star from "Ambience" because our decision to sit outside was associated with an extremely high level of street noise.
That doesn't change the fact that we will come back, we just have to find a suitable date.

Wir haben unseren 9. Hochzeitstag dort zu zweit gefeiert und wir hatten ein wunderbares Abendessen.
Der Tisch war liebevoll mit Herzen gedeckt 😊 Das Menü mit 3 Gängen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir hatten uns zusätzlich noch eine weitere Vorspeise bestellt und geteilt. Alle Gerichte wirklich gekonnt gemacht.

We celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary there as a couple and we had a wonderful dinner.
The table was lovingly set with hearts 😊 We really enjoyed the 3-course menu. We also ordered another appetizer and shared it. All dishes really skillfully made.

Waren zum ersten Mal in der Postschänke. Sehr gemütlich, klein, aber fein.
Super netter Service, sehr aufmerksam.
Das Menü wunderbar, die Hauptspeise wurde vom Chefkoch persönlich serviert. Noch nie so tolle, heiße Teller erlebt.
Zum Café gab's noch eine Pannacotta mit Kirsche als Zugabe, herrlich.
Einfach zwei wunderbare, leckere Stunden verbracht.
