Imagine that YOU 🫵 are an average 14 year old kid, being told by your parents that you and your family were going to eat at a 2 star Michelin restaurant. How would you feel? Excited? Happy? Anxious, maybe? Well, all I can say is that this restaurant brought me through a rollercoaster of emotions. However, none of them were negative, by ANY means. My dining experience here was astoundingly stupendous. It left me shaken to the core, but with happiness and pure satisfaction! The moment I stepped foot into this restaurant, my anxiety of not meeting the restaurants “posh” standards immediately disappeared, as me and my family were welcomed with open arms into the fine establishment, and the waiter that led us to our table even went as far as to remember my mother’s surname, which the reservation was under. This may seem like a small gesture, but it meant so much to us, as back home in Singapore, an experience like this would be incredibly rare. After we were sat down, a waiter immediately offered us a selection of waters and alcohol, and even recommended us champagne. With every course, the waiter took his time to meticulously and explicitly, whilst also calmly explain the contents of the dish, where the ingredients originated from, and for a particular course, even how the dish earned its name. Besides being provided with astounding, world-class experience, the food itself was taste-bud tingling, mouthwatering and just absolutely delicious! Each dish packed an explosion of flavour, sour, sweet, umami, it was like a balloon of pure flavors exploded in my mouth like confetti! Each bite of each dish nearly brought me to tears of joy! Each dish had a perfect combination of flavor and texture, and we could tell that all the dishes were created with ingredients of an utmost quality.  Besides the amazing service and food, the atmosphere was also really calming and casual, rather than being very posh, which I was afraid of as I might not have been able to meet the high, “posh”, standards. However, I did not need to be worried at all, as the restaurant had calming, comfortable lighting and lit candles on each table, which paired with the great selection of music, made the atmosphere incredibly welcoming. All in all, this restaurant was amazing, and if there was an ultimate form of happiness out there, this restaurant has helped me achieve that, simply through food.

Der Besuch im Louis war nicht nur ein kulinarisches WOW-Erlebnis. Von der Inneneinrichtung, über den Service, das Menü bis zur Weinbegleitung hat alles harmoniert. Das Engagement des jungen unprätentiösen Teams um Sebastian Sandor ist bewundernswert. Im 10-Gang Menü wird eine Menge an ausgezeichneten, geschmacklich intensivst recherchierten, Gerichten angeboten. Besonders hervorzuheben die Würze der einzelnen Speisen, die prägnant hervorstach aber ohne die Kreationen zu überlagern. Alles in allem wird eine hochwertige Fusionstyle Küche mit hervorragenden Ausgangsprodukten, die zum Teil vom Küchenteam selbst hergestellt werden. Zum Menü hat Sommelier Robert Jankowski eine Weinbegleitung zusammengestellt, die nich besser hätte passen können. Die zwei Michelin Sterne hat dieses sich so harmonisch ergänzende Team sehr verdient.

Particularly noteworthy was the spice of the individual dishes, which stood out clearly but without overpowering the creations. All in all, it is a high-quality fusion style kitchen with excellent raw materials, some of which are produced by the kitchen team themselves. Sommelier Robert Jankowski put together a wine pairing for the menu that couldn't have gone better. This team, which complements each other so harmoniously, very much deserves the two Michelin stars.

Man sitzt auf gemütlichen, gepolsterten Bänken und Stühlen und blickt ins Grüne, die hohen Decken mit Stuck passen in das altehrwürdige Gebäude.

Der Service war tadellos, mit einem aufmerksamen und sachkundigen Personal. Der Sommelier überzeugte durch seine Leidenschaft und sein umfassendes Wissen, das weit über herkömmliche Weinempfehlungen hinausging, und schloss auch Sake und innovative Cocktails mit ein.

Die Küche präsentiert moderne, stark von der japanischen Küche inspirierte Gerichte, die sowohl kreativ als auch qualitativ hochwertig sind. Die Patisserie war ein weiteres Highlight des Abends.

Trotz der Dauer des Essens von etwa 4,5 Stunden, was einige Gäste als lang empfinden könnten, war das gesamte Erlebnis einwandfrei und jeden Moment wert.

Das Restaurant verfügt zudem über einen Parkplatz und eine Ladestation für Elektroautos.

Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die auf der Suche nach einem außergewöhnlichen kulinarischen Erlebnis sind. Definitiv empfehlenswert ist die Kombination mit einer Übernachtung im hervorragenden Hotel mit exzellentem Frühstück!

You sit on comfortable, upholstered benches and chairs and look out over the greenery; the high ceilings with stucco fit into the time-honored building.

The service was impeccable, with an attentive and knowledgeable staff. The sommelier impressed with his passion and extensive knowledge, which went far beyond traditional wine recommendations and also included sake and innovative cocktails.

Ich war jetzt immer mal wieder bei einem Sternekoch. Aber hier war es echt was ganz Besonderes. Ja, es hatte seinen Preis und ich gabe auch schon sehr oft sehr gut gegessen. Aber noch nie so. Das war bisher Einzigartig. 14 unterschiedliche kleine Kreationen oft japanisch/asiatisch angehaucht. Ein Erlebnis für den Gaumen. Wichtig ist nur, dass man sich auf alles einlässt.

I've been to a star chef every now and then. But here it was really something special. Yes, it had its price and I often ate very well. But never like this. This was unique so far. 14 different small creations, often with a Japanese/Asian touch. An experience for the palate. The only important thing is that you get involved in everything.

Hervorragende Küche und starker Service. Das tolle Ambiente und die ungezwungene Atmosphäre waren ein Garant für einen tollen Abend. Der Sommelier agiert souverän und überzeugt mit enormer Kompetenz. Die Weinbegleitung ist zum Teil mutig, fernab vom Mainstream und daher sehr spannend. Wir kommen garantiert wieder.

Excellent cuisine and strong service. The great ambience and the casual atmosphere guaranteed a great evening. The sommelier acts confidently and impresses with enormous competence. The wine pairing is partly bold, far from the mainstream and therefore very exciting. We'll definitely be back.
