It was my first time to a 2 star Michelin restaurant and it was special. First the menu is really small, it is relatively slow (it lasted two hours). Maybe because I am more used to classical restaurants.

But the food was great, in small quantity as one expects. And I saw many surprising things. The cost was really not that expensive considering all there is.

Having the pleasure to have experimented various 2 stars restaurants over Europe, this one stands out as the best I have been too.
Atmosphere is fantastic, so is service and wine choice. The food was amazing, mix of classic and creativity, all possible textures, and surpinsgly fair amount.
All of this for an amazing price given the level of cooking.

We stayed for the Christmas holiday. As a couple. They arranged everything, from high tea when we arrived, to a spa day the next day after breakfast and a wonderful 2 Michelin star dinner.

The food was very good, well presented accompanied by the best wine served with excellence and precision. There was one dish that even brought tears to my eyes, so special! The last cookies were dry, this is disappointing as a final dish, the Madeleine and the other cake. All in all I would give the dinner a 8.5/10.

We stayed inside the hotel which was absolutely stunning.
A bottle of champagne in the room, small snacks and a plate of fresh fruit. A blanket and a bowl for our doggie which he loved, and when we talked about him they prepared his favourite food; a boiled egg!

The whole team is very motivated, friendly, on point and all this made it feel very warm and welcoming.

The only two things which I didn’t like much was the boxing day gourmet dinner the dinner was awful, I couldn’t eat it. We also didn’t like the location where we were sitting alone (outside of the restaurant in the lobby) there were no other food options (!) so I went to bed hungry.. next morning they were very sorry and made a geste to resolve the discomfort which was very nice and professional.

Wonderful. A spontaneous visit has been accepted by the restaurant management and it has to be said that this was an experience worth to remember. Stunning amuse bouches (4 plus 1 for my person), very beautifully arranged and taste-wise amazing dishes being concluded by an extraordinary desert and a load of pâtisserie as company to the espresso.
Very attentive staff, outstanding maître d'. Too many superlatives used? I agree. But I liked it. Very. Much.
