We ended up at a street table of this venerable Lübecker eatery a warm Friday night beginning of August 2024. We were rapidly served what we had been longing for, fish and chips, made from haddock as it should be, and North Sea crabs, e.g. small shrimps. If you want to sit inside you really need to reserve well in advance. Good value for money.

Great food worth the money. They could fit us in even though we didn't have a reservation. We did see a 4 person group get turned away so reserve in advance! The food was delicious. English friendly menu as well. Pictured is the "holiday in Italy"

Wow, I wasn’t expecting the food to be this tasty! Initially when I looked at the menu, I thought it’s really overpriced and the food needs to deliver to justify them. And well, delivered it did !! Highly recommend the salmon burger ! The sauce with it was a delight.  The wine is quite ordinary, I think the cocktails look better.
The ambiance is great, staff is super friendly and organized.

Amazing experience, very fresh fish, well seasoned, but it would not overcome it's rate, so kept it's flavour very well adding to it. Great service all well with very good English
