The experience was good, famous restaurant or bar in the dunes. They made a brand of their name in Germany. Very long menu you can have everything but Oysters apparently not available this time. From the parking space there is a short walk but there is also a shuttle service. It nice to walk through the dunes. Great service, it was super full but still we found a nice table. A sprinkle of luxury on the beach. A lot of Porsche advertising.

One of the best meals of my trip. Had a ribeye from Iowa my neighboring state and was as good if not better than when I cook a steak at home. Thank you for the great customer service and an enjoyable visit.

Even though Sansibar feels like a tourist trap, every time I visit Sylt I always come here. The view and atmosphere are stunning. The service staff is always lovely and happy to help. The food I usually go for something on their daily menu. Some were a hit (like garlic butter shrimps - yum!). Some were a missed. But whatever you decide to order, save some rooms for Kaiserschmarrn. It’s warm and so comforting. Overall, it’s a nice experience!

We were 8 people. 4 adults, 4 kids.
Went there 11:45 as the restaurant opens at 12 and you have to line up as the quantity of people allowed is limited (corona). So be there in time!.... But there are lots of places. Inside and outside as well.
The terrace offers some electric heating as well.
We had a table outside. Just big enough for 8 guests.
The playground is just close by. So you can relax and watch your children play.

Corona: all waiters wear a mask! Youl find desinfection on several entrances.
There is limited access to the area because of corona.

The food was good. Not outstanding but good. As it is Sylt... It's a bit expensive. But worthwhile.

We hat pasta, fish soup, sushi, salat, fish and chips, Kaiserschmarrn, coffee, water and truffle fries (!).

The service was very good. Quick, very friendly and really taking care of us.

So overall?
Yes it's a posh place, sponsored by Daimler, SAP and others. Prices are quit high but it's worthwhile going there. Plan to spend a few hours there. You won't regret it

Delicious food, amazing view. We enjoyed watching the sunset while drinking our wine. The restaurant has a very rich wine menu. The Kaiserschmarrn was sooooo good!
