Ein rundum gelungener Abend. Essen top, Service freundlich und zügig. Neben der tollen Weinauswahl auch eine grosse Auswahl an alkoholfreien Alternativen - unter anderem von Jörg Geiger. Und zum Abschluss ein phänomenales Käse Pre-Dessert sowie eine hervorragende Zwetschgen Nougat Kombination. Danke, wir kommen wieder.

In addition to the great selection of wines, there is also a large selection of non-alcoholic alternatives - including from Jörg Geiger. Gestern waren wir zu viert im Restaurant Alt Wyk zum Abendessen.

Da es einen Stern im Michelin Guide hat, waren die Erwartungen entsprechend hoch.

Ambiente, gediegen, nicht Fancy. Der klassischen Küche entsprechend.

Service, gut. Nicht hervorragend (20 Minuten ist zum Ende niemand mehr vorbeigekommen und ein Getränk wurde falsch gebracht ), dafür gute Weinberatung und ansprechender Service beim servieren.

Küche, klassische Küche in der Qualität wie erwartet. Im 4-Gang Menü war der letze Gang (Nachspeise) das Highlight.

Preislich liegt man pro Person mit guter Weinbegleitung bei 140 bis 200 Euro.

Unsere Erwartungen wurden bestätigt. Nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Immer davon ausgehend, dass es sich hier um ein Restaurant mit einem Stern handelt und wir uns somit in der Spitzengastronomie wiederfinden. Die Messlatte liegt hier um einiges höher als bei dem Restaurant um die Ecke.

Yesterday the four of us had dinner at the Alt Wyk restaurant.

Since it has one star in the Michelin Guide, expectations were correspondingly high.

Ambiance, dignified, not fancy. Corresponding to classic cuisine.

Service, good. Not excellent (at the end no one came by for 20 minutes and a drink was brought in the wrong way), but good wine advice and attractive service when serving.

Kitchen, classic cuisine in the quality as expected. In the 4-course menu, the last course (dessert) was the highlight.

The price per person with good wine accompaniment is 140 to 200 euros.

Our expectations were confirmed. Neither more nor less. Always assuming that this is a restaurant with one star and that we therefore find ourselves in top gastronomy. The bar here is a lot higher than at the restaurant around the corner.

Immer wieder ein Genuss. Der Service ist genauso genial wie das wechselnde Menü.
Wer sich passend zum Menü auch noch mit auf die Weinreise begibt wird das nicht bereuen. Das Essen ist ein Gedicht. Wir würden dafür auch mehr als einen Stern vergeben. Es ist einfach spitzenmäßig und jeden Euro wert.
Mehr als nur eine Empfehlung wert, aber unbedingt vorher reservieren!
