It was an incredibly nice experience visiting Salt and Silver am Meer. We have been earlier to the restaurant in Hamburg, but here am Meer it was a very different feeling! The sunset, the view, a glass of my favourite Sauvignon Blanc and a pleasant company - what else do you need for a perfect date night!

Highly recommend to try oysters and grilled Steinbutt fish - you’ll thank me later!

Staff and service were among the things I definitely marked as “excellent”.

We are very grateful to the whole team for making our evening so memorable!

Price value leaves much to be desired,three Oysters,one steak ,one rose wine and three beers 100 plus Euro.The presentation of the food could be improved,steak and a bunch of fries,one sauce bernaise store made. I’m really disappointed with Michelin recommending the Restaurant, did they actually ever visit?

Food is really nice, service was a bit overwhelmed, but the restaurant was also really full.

After being kite surfing at this place of the coast we had a hot chocolate and it’s been amazing. It’s so hard to find qualitative Food. Then we visit Sylt today and we were shocked about the ugliness and carelessness.

If you can have lunch or dinner here it’s now one of my favorite places along the coast line.

Ocean view at every table, a young team of motivated staff all being super friendly and the food is outstanding good. Thatever you order, you taste the locally sourced ingredients. Top notch quality. Sure you have to pay for it but I love to do so. It was an honor to be their guest three days in a row.

Also don’t forget to get their book, it’s super nice designed with a good mix of stories, amazing pictures and recipes.

If I would describe the hole experience in one word it’s a „vibe“.
