Family dinner we have had here. The family loved it, however I have did not like what the steak has been served with: the potatoes and the onions dressing was nor healthy neither tasty for me.

The prices are almost as high as in Switzerland but why? What is the reason for 287 euros for 3 adults and 2 children.

The service was fast and very friendly.

As much as I love the restaurant and food, and appreciate a huge family effort which goes into business here, I cannot give all five stars. We were guests in the hotel and enjoyed full board dinners. Food is excellent, as well as wine selection. But unfortunately the service varies day to day. Some are very good, other days extremely slow and inattentive. Ordering something for the second time (like a second glass of wine or so) is a real struggle quite often. It was always nice and polite, but not more. However, food is truly exceptionally delicious and unique. Execution of New Year menu and super hard work of the staff was visible. Again, was hard to order anything and our waitress completely forgot about so that another one had to care about our table. Still, all NY eve was worth it completely.  Would return for the food and wine.

The restsaurant is part of hotel Krone where we are staying. We only found out we were eating at a restaurant of a top 50 chef in Germany, on the next morning. Everything was impressive - from the atmosphere, through the service, ending with most delicious food with amazing presentation.
