Nice place, we hear!

We just didn’t get a chance to see it or taste it!

Online. Day before hoping for some luck. Google.  Got telephone number.  Called it. Asked for table. Got put on waiting list. Got called back. Got table. Booked expensive room with hats. Drove an afternoon with pleasure after a hard week of work.

Got there.  Brushed teeth. Combed hair. Dressed up, smiles, and were kicked out of entrance by snotty nose and told to go down stairs.

We did and ate. Not at Weinstock as reservation was intended and assumed but used to fill „downstairs“.

Told it was same kitchen and …. Ordered bubbles, ate 3 courses that would have given replete to an army of hungry blokes… Paid too much but lovely waiter….

Well, if you drive with anticipation as we did after an exhausting week of work to end up eating an average kitchen…

If we ran our business like that….

Give the place a miss and go somewhere professional.

Sehr schönes Restaurant (1404) mit einer ausgezeichneten gehobenen Küche. Die Nähe des Küchenteams zum ebenfalls im Haus beheimateten Restaurant Weinstock merkt man deutlich. Wir hatten das fünf- und vier- Gänge Menü mit Weinbegleitung.
Charmanter, aufmerksamer Service der direkt auf Anmerkungen eingeht. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend, gerne Wieder. Preislich gehobenes Restaurant, für das gebotene angemessen. Besucht 08/2024

Very nice restaurant (1404) with excellent fine dining. The proximity of the kitchen team to the Weinstock restaurant, which is also located in the building, is clearly noticeable. We had the five and four course menu with wine accompaniment.

Mein Partner und ich kamen in den Genuss der kulinarischen Kunst von Cornelia und ihrem Team.
Wir waren sehr begeistert von dem Konzept und von der Auswahl, die auf unseren Tellern serviert wurden.

Auch sehr zufrieden waren wir mit den begleitend servierten Weinen.

Wir waren schon im Juli an diesem wunderbaren Ort. Selten haben wir so gut gegessen. Und auch die Weinbegleitung war an Darbietung nicht zu übertreffen, jeder Wein und die Weingüter wurden detailliert vorgestellt. Der Abend verging wie im Flug. Auch am Nebentisch war zu hören: "eigentlich müssten es 2 Sterne sein". Das können wir uneingeschränkt bestätigen.

We were already in this wonderful place in July. We have rarely eaten so well. And the wine accompaniment couldn't be surpassed in terms of presentation; each wine and the wineries were presented in detail. The evening flew by. At the next table you could also hear: “actually it should be 2 stars”. We can confirm this without reservation.

…… Also wenn ich etwas bemängeln müsste, dann, dass der Abend  schon vorüber ist. Die Speisen waren Weltklasse. Von den Produkten bis zur Verarbeitung. Es hat einen Riesen Spaß gemacht. Die tolle Weinbegleitung hat ihr übriges dazugetan. Wir sagen nochmals ganz herzlich Danke für diesen tollen Abend & bis hoffentlich ganz bald mal wieder.

…… Well, if I had to complain about something, it would be that the evening is already over. The food was world class. From the products to the processing. It was a lot of fun. The great wine accompaniment added the rest. We would like to say thank you very much again for this great evening and hopefully see you again very soon.
