Excellent restaurant in the center of town. The food is high quality, everything fresh, staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are highe but appropriate for what is being offered. They can also recommend a suitable wine for the dishes. The interior is traditional as well as cosy but also small and it's a  popular place, so be sure to reserve a table well ahead!

Ein wunderbares Sonntagmittagessen! Der Herr des Hauses versteht sein Handwerk, die Dame sorgt für einen aufmerksamen entspannten Service. Alle Gerichte waren frisch zubereitet, fein und sehr schön arrangiert. Kürbissüppchen, kross-saftige Ente, zartes Wolfsbarschfilet auf frischem Rösti und Gemüse, Creme brûlée. Dazu fränkischer Wein. Wir sind glücklich von dannen gezogen und kommen gerne wieder! Danke für die nette Begegnung!

A wonderful Sunday lunch! The man of the house knows his craft, the lady ensures attentive, relaxed service. All dishes were freshly prepared, delicate and beautifully arranged. Pumpkin soup, crispy, juicy duck, tender sea bass fillet on fresh rösti and vegetables, crème brûlée. Plus Franconian wine. We left there happily and would love to come back! Kleines , sehr gemütliches Spitzenrestaurant. Immer Sensationelle ,kleine feine  Speisekarte. Super aufmerksamer Service .Leider bekommt man den "Meister seines Fachs " nie zu Gesicht.
Kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag : etwas leise Musik im Hintergrund würde das Ambiente noch wesentlich verbessern und die Gespräche der Nachbartische etwas kaschieren.

Small suggestion for improvement: some quiet music in the background would improve the ambience significantly and disguise the conversations of the neighboring tables.
