We went there for our wedding anniversary. We both had the menu with a different combination. The food was good, my husband said it was not enough for him. I did find it sufficient. It looks like the a la carte has larger portion sizes.
Overall it was a nice and enjoyable evening.

The food was very good, though I did feel like compared to other restaurants I tried during my trip, it was overpriced for the portion sizes. However, it was delicious and we were both recommended two different wines and both were EXCELLENT. My partner and I both agreed that it was some of the best white wine we have had out at a restaurant.

The reason this gets 4 stars and not 5 is two fold though. First is I thought it was a bit overpriced. But second was our experience coming into the restaurant. There was a man outside, not sure if he was drunk or just rude, but he made us uncomfortable. He started flirting with my partner, but then also told him to get naked. The “jokes” continued and obviously made us both very uncomfortable and the impression we got was that he was doing this intentionally. Once we sat down at the restaurant we considered saying something, but then saw the guy come in and it was clear he was very good friends with one of the owners. I don’t know if other customers had the same experience as we did, but I just thought it wasn’t great that they witnessed their friend behaving inappropriately towards their guests and did / said nothing.

Ranking our personal #1 of all Wirtshaus we did. tried over the last 2 years in Munich.
Excellent kitchen and all cooked professionally to the Spot
Chef is bringing the dishes and overall service is excellent. Very friendly staffing and place was very clean and well organized.
Pricing is great.
Did have a cordon bleu with hand made Bratkartoffeln.
A blast are Kaiserschmarren! Best in town!

Excellent restaurant, a new favourite. Veggie options both delicious, Augustiner vom Faß. Service was alright and the location very nice. Maybe a bit expensive(-0.5 stars for that).

We came for dinner last night. The food and service were excellent, but the pricing was not very clear. We ordered a starter of mozzarella salad, checking that we could do that without ordering the full course meal, which was confirmed. We then ordered the main course, which was great. The shock came when our bill came and we were charged for the full course meal, not just the starter (see photo)! This overpricing felt like we were cheated and didn't make the beer coupon worth it 😔. It's too bad really, because we had a great time until then.

Edit: The owner kindly transferred the 8 Euros to my account. I still feel the waiter shouldn't have assumed anything, but overall the experience and food was a good one.
