Used multi-pass ticket & was worried this site might not be worth it but it definitely was. Beautiful & serene, not busy at all. It was amazing to see the detail of the ruins up close.

Before entering the archeological site you will be greeted by the magnificent Gate of Athena Archegetis, which you can also see and take a photo with without entering the site with a ticket.

The site of the forum is pretty small, full of pillars and rubbles. One can imagine the hustle and bustle this place used to have, but unfortunately its ruins are not as impressive.

However, the Gate of Athena and the Tower of Wind are the redeeming qualities of this site. The tower itself is an ancient technological marvel, the carvings on it are also pretty detailed and worth a closer look.

It's an interesting site for those who are interested in archaeology and architecture. The complex includes a small but unique museum as well. However the museum needs to guide the visitors. It's a large area and when you enter, you do not know which way you need to go to avoid missing any part! There is no sign to show you where to start! There are cute kitties in the complex as well who capture the hearts 😍 🐱

Definitely worth visiting. The most fascinating part was how the Ottoman Empire converted the Astronomy Tower Into a Mosque. Religion over Science.  Strange How History Repeats itself

Loved it here. There is a museum bit and a large outside area. The walk there from the city centre is lovely.  Lots of great eateries on the way. Highly recommended.
