I was impressed by the services of this amazing staff! The food was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were perfectly crafted. Highly recommend! special thanks to Nasia and her team for their outstanding hospitality🫶🏻

The service in this hotel does not exist unfortunately.
Staff is very bad and they lack customer service experience.

I would have given 0 stars if I could. The service in this hotel is non existent unfortunately. Staff lack customer service experience.
The amount charged for each night is not worth it at all . I would not recommend to anyone and I would never return. Hope the staff get trained soon . They are not warm or welcoming even our send off was the same!

This is NOT a luxury Hotel, all the
Instagram images and bookings.com had Cavo Tago rated very highly with amazing photography.
After emailing the hotel in advance, to check in early as we are travelling with a toddler.
On arrival, 12:30, reception staff said it will take 30-45 minutes. So we decided to check out their lunch while we waited.
We spent an hour after which we returned to the reception for an update.  Again advised it will take 15 minutes.  After 30 minutes we were advised another 10 minutes. Come 15:20 the room was finally ready.
At this time we had asked the duty manager to attend and ask why multiple times were suggested, if the hotel cant accommodate, we could have gone out as we had our own car.
Room was not thoroughly cleaned as the previous guests checked out late.
The pool was not clean, under the sofa by the pool had long strands of hair.
Our shower was not working and the handheld shower was damaged with water squirting from the sides.
Again the duty manager was not available and did not want to answer for the shortcomings.
We had provided the hotel with almost €14k deposit for our stay, and really wanted to leave.  The reservation team advised the booking is non refundable and even if the hotel is not perfect they are unable to refund.
Clearly displaying how desperate the hotel is to keep any bookings, they finally decided to give us 20% off the room rate per night.
Hotel management decided to turn the AC down to manage their costs, wanted us to request for the Ac to be turned cooler.
Found that very poor tactics as we thought the room again had poor AC. We had a poor start the issues just wouldn’t end.
Breakfast, All the croissants are of poor quality, eggs were the best option and greek yogurt/granola.
Stay away from the pizza, lack of
toppings and cheese make it more of a large tacos.
Ironically fruits were delicious, anything not made by the hotel was amazing.
Pillows were not made of luxury they did not have soft pillows.
A hotel charging £2800 per night, really needs to lift their standards.
They have no shame about asking for tips, the only persons we tipped, was the valet drivers and the ladies cleaning our rooms.
We requested for a babysitter, and the first babysitter that arrived, we were told by concierge €30 euros per hour.
Timings 21:30 to 00:30 and cash only. But we agreed to pay €120. On arrival the babysitter requested €150! And started getting aggressive and saying shes not taking €120.
Kept pointing fingers and saying “YOU” will pay extra €30.  In all honesty, I told her to speak to the lady who booked the timings and amount, because thats what they told us.  She took the money and left.
The above all happened in the first 2 days. 3 days to go. The blinds stopped working and we had to call their maintenance, who asked us if we’d like to change rooms as he cannot fix it in 3 hours.
We were simply tired of moving and complaining we just said leave it. But they fixed it a day later.
On one day we were swimming a drone was flying and looking into our pool area. We told the staff this is invading our privacy. They said they will request the person to stop. Later we found out it was the hotel staff creating adverts for the hotel!
Lessons we have learnt, never trust the adverts. Lots of influencers are obtaining discounted rates to show the premises off. Why are they not showing you the poor shower heads.
Only book 1 night and have the option to leave to another hotel.

Late check out was again not available despite reception staff saying they will provide.

The hotel of course cannot guarantee and it’s all subject to availability, but this hotel has a tendency of saying “we will try our best” to only say NO.
When checking out, the reception lady asked, if I’d like to leave a tip.  What on earth do you think I was thinking at this moment.  Absolutely clueless, simply told her politely, it’s rude to ask for tips when Ive just settled a €14.5k bill.
The hotel room service averaged for us €180-€200, for just 2-3 items. Ignore Instagram and Tik tok as pictures are filtered.

Disappointing!!!! I have travelled the world and stayed in worlds most luxurious places and never experienced this kind of disgrace. Many of my friends have already warned me about horrible unkindness and rooms that doesn't feel luxurious and doesn't offer the price suitable comfort, but I still decided to try it out and form my own opinion. We booked a 2 bedroom villa because of stunning pictures on booking.com and was asked to pay full amount prior which was 6000€ . We arrived to venue at 12, was told that room will be ready at 2pm. No welcome drink, no warm greetings, nothing. Nobody even suggested us where to wait or anything. Ok. So we waited out till 2pm. Room wasn't ready. Haven't been even said sorry for that or at least offered a glass of water because of their mistake. No. Nothing. Waited till 2:40 than ent ask again and was taken up the hill to our "villa" . We entered a small narrow "hallway" with 1 two seat sofa looking into white wall about 1 meter away. No dining table, or 6 people lounge area or art, or living space that was shown on pictures. Completely different room. Absolutely worth around 200€ and definitely not 3000€. Absolutely horrendous. We in first second made it clear that is is unacceptable. I went to reception where a manager Anna was called to tell us that they won't refund our money and that our option is only to stay. I kindly asked if we can please just without any drama get our 6000€ refund and find another place because this is a scam. Than she started to say in a very very rude and disrespectful way that they show online just highlights from 3 completely different rooms and of which none of those was the one they gave to me and I should be ok witb that. So I said so how is this not a scam ? She continued that how is inside room is not important only what is important is the  square meter, view and color 😂 So she can sell me anything and was basically saying that it doesn't matter that i booked room with certain photos offered as reference, and that i should be ok with not having any of furniture or features on photos because i still have view. She was so rude and humiliating me that she even made me cry on spot. She didn't even care about that btw, to make an asult woman cry at reception. She as well said that they have 5 rooms of same category available and none of them are on photos so It was even not that refound would not be possible due to high demand. Did not even 1 time apologize or show any form of regret. Unseen customer service and we are here talking abot service that would need to follow up 3000€ per night price. At the end we left, without getting not even 1 day refund even tho we didn't even spend 1 second in the room. Humiliating and degrading experience.
Ruined start of our holidays. Will make sure i share my experience with as many people as I can so that nobody again will need to walk in tears out of that place. It was never even about lost money but how the "manager"
made us feel was just horrible and sad. Please save yourself from this place 🙏🏻
