Food was nice to look at (except the lamb), but definitely not the best we've had on our trip. The fried tomatoes were over-spiced, lamb was extremely fatty with nothing rendered off it, caramel tart was excellent, muscles were good but many were cold due to the bowl size leaving them out of the broth. Overpriced but what do you expect in a tourist town? Service was not good. Tried to rush us out, wouldn't answer questions, then ignored us.

Probably the best food we tried in Oia, and yet besides the gyros places next to the bus stop, this was the cheapest restaurant we went to. On top of that, this place was the only one to serve us complimentary drinks at the end of the meal. I recommend the traditional salad (this is usually good everywhere but in Melitini the quality of the vegetables was truly superior), the oven cooked lamb and the smoked pork neck steak. The only downsides were the limited choice of wines (only house wine is available) and that the orzo with chicken, while very tasty, had quite a few small chicken bones in it away from the chunks of chicken and it could be a bit dangerous for the teeth if I didn't notice one (luckily this didn't happen). We went twice and I would happily go back if I am ever in Oia again one day

This restaurant claims to offer a “sunset experience” and enforces a booking deposit as well as mandatory minimum spend of 60 euros for 2 ppl which was not explicitly stated during the booking. Couldn’t see any views even on the 2nd floor. The food was below average - the lamb was served warm/room temperature with parts that are fatty or tough. Chicken was better.

Tried out this restaurant for an evening sunset in Oia. We did not have reservations so we were not able to get a rooftop seating, so we sat downstairs and was still able to get a glimpse of the sunset sky.

For appetizers we tried the Smoked cheese Saganaki and the Melitini Potatoes, and for the main course the traditional Greek pasta with beef.

It was all delicious.
Highly recommended.
Friendly staff , did not feel rushed, the place was not overcrowded because it's located on the back street and very reasonably priced

I loved loved our lunch. If you want fresh clean real authentic Greek food that is reasonably priced,  this is your place.  There are a lot of restaurants on the island that are expensive and tasty. This one is a gem.  Very simple and clean, no fancy interior,  but really good food.
