I had a fantastic experience at Tihanyi Vinarius. Our server, Leonid, was excellent—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. The dishes were phenomenal, full of rich flavors and beautifully presented. Leonid's recommendations were perfect, and he made sure we had everything we needed. The combination of great food and outstanding service made for an unforgettable evening. Highly recommend!

I don’t usually provide such 5 star ratings with ease (I don’t even write reviews all that often), but this place deserves every word.

We arrived on Sunday evening, pre season, so it wasn’t full. The atmosphere is wonderful, with carefully crafted playlist of jazz versions of familiar songs.
The service is very attentive and polite. The food is, to the best of my understanding, the quintessential Hungarian cuisine addressed with modern techniques. Truly wonderful experience, strongly recommended for food lovers.

If you are looking for first class, this is definitely for you.  Everything is flawless.  The cellar dining room is very unique and tastefully decorated.  The roast venison with goose liver were cooked perfectly.  The truffle gallete was delicious, rich pastry and the intense decadent flavor of truffle.  Portions are not large but proportionate considering the quality. There is a good selection of fine wine.  Excellent service.  A memorable experience.  Highly recommended.

Great experience. The place is beautiful snd the food great. The main course tried a little bit too much, the pork had a bit too many noodles in proportion. But the apetizer for two was incredible. Amazing tastes and a wonderful selection of wine. All in all it was great value and totally worth the 1 1/2 hour hike we did from Balatonfüred to get there (of course a car would be better).

Definitely one of the top 10 meals we ever had!
At first we were a little uncomfortable because we were the only guests at this lovely place on a Friday night but the warm welcoming smile of our waitress made us feel right at home.
We started with a nice glass of Hungarian bubbles on the terrace before taking it inside as the sun went down.
Our mains were like a painting on the plate and with every bite a new discovery.
Desserts were just as beautiful as they were tasty and the glass of Tokaj dessert wine made the perfect end to a memorable evening.
No, you don't see lake Balaton from the table but you won't miss it for a moment.
Thanks to everyone working on september 29th, you made it a perfect and memorable evening for us!
