The views from here are absolutely stunning with the sun rising over the hills in the distance. The pool area is very warm, takes a few minutes to adjust to the temperature. Drinks bar in the pool as well as a face mask dispensary. Staff are friendly, men and women have separate changing areas. Would advise booking for entry early as you can stay as long as you like once you’ve entered the pool.

Our visit was fantastic! The staff and facilities were impeccably maintained. We dined at the Lava restaurant, and the experience was exceptional. We were celebrating a birthday, and the restaurant surprised us with a delicious dessert, which was a lovely touch. We arrived at the lagoon at 8 AM on a Saturday morning and found it pleasantly uncrowded, as was our lunch reservation at 11:30 AM. Overall, it was an incredible bucket-list destination!

We visited Iceland because my son wanted to experience the Blue Lagoon so we made a holiday out of it. We visited twice during our holiday. The first time on a Monday afternoon and it was quiet and a clear day, and then on a Friday morning afternoon and it was much busier and really misty.
Both visits the staff were lovely and helpful, everywhere was clean and the whole experience was lovely. The second visit we booked on the day an hour before, as last day treat on our way to the airport so it is always worth checking their website if you haven’t booked and would like to go.
There are 7 of us ranging from 2 years old up to 48 years old and we all enjoyed it.

I’ve been to a few hot springs around the world and while this place is very famous for obvious reasons, I thought it was just an OK visit for me.

You could feel the hype though as everyone was excited to be there.

I thought the high price was warranted as the drive to the place and the walk towards the lagoon were an experience in themselves and the setting was spectacular.

5* for crossing off a bucket list item, 5* for the vibe and 4* for the hot spring experience itself.

At first I was wondered that this place was not going to be worth the money, but I soon changed my mind.

I paid £207 for the two of us to go. We booked for 12pm and our booking included bath robs, 3 masks and 2 drinks.

The package was not worth it for the bath robs, you can just run into the water!

But, it was definitely worth it for the 3 masks and 2 drinks. If we were to pay for the drinks separately it probably would have cost around £40-£50 (for the 4 drinks).

Also, with the normal package you get 1 mask, but with the upgraded you get 3. It is 100% worth it. You get to have a nice exfoliation followed by two masks which have different purposes. Really really enjoyed them.

Also, this place is bloody huge!!! I lost my husband for a good 15 minutes 😂

The only downside, the food is expensive and the portions are tiny. I know food in Iceland is expensive compared to prices in London, but it was not worth it for the tiny amount of food available.

I would recommend eating before hand, and 100% get the premium package!
