You must grab a delicious Icelandic hotdog while in Iceland. This stand was said to be the best! It was very yummy!

Even before we go to Iceland lots of people tell us to have the hot dog here. Well we found this very popular hot dog stall and the queue doesn’t seem to end. We had the hotdogs with everything and it was really great. Found out the ingredients that made the hot dog are Icelandic lamb, pork and beef. The plus point for me it’s the main sauces of sauces with crispy fried onions is placed right beneath the hot dog. So when we eat it, we don’t have them dripping everywhere. Really best hot dog in the world. ❤️❤️❤️

This place is open quite early, which was nice as most places were closed when I arrived in Reykjavik.

I have to say.. It’s hard to beat a Chicagoan Vienna beef.

It was decent. The crunchy onions were nice addition. The sauce has a slight sweet taste.

It was about 5$ per fully loaded hotdog at time of review.

Would recommend to try if your wandering around.

These Icelandic hot dogs are basic food for anyone on the go. Simple, fast and tasty! Its nothing special but it becomes special when you are having it with the beautiful scenery of Iceland.

Cool spot for late night lamb hotdogs and famous spot in Reykjavik. Stopped by here on our walking tour with Bonnie from Wake Up Reykjavik. Some people liked it, but I did not. Flavor was weird, but the fixings were good. Happy I tried it though. Apparently this place serves 2000 people daily. No vegetarian hot dogs. My wife and friend couldn’t eat.
