Came here for dinner—got seated right away since we had reservations, but the restaurant wasn’t packed.  Very dim lit inside.

For starters, we got the Mixed 8-piece Sushi Platter and Creamy Lobster Soup with Langoustine—both relatively good.  For entrees, the Slow Cooked Arctic Char was okay and the Grilled Beef & Lobster “Surf & Turf” was tasty.  Tried the Magnum Milk Chocolate Mousse with Praline Sponge Cake dessert—wasn’t a fan of this dessert, the mixture of stuff in it tasted weird.  Service was a bit slow, and after asking the server for the check, it took a while

Hands down the best meal we had in Iceland. The food here is amazing.

A great restaurant. Looks very unassuming from the outside, but don’t let that put you off. We had the set menu - best food in Iceland. It’s not even close. Go here and love every second!

Brilliant. Amazing service, atmosphere, cocktails and dinner. We had the 5 course tasting menu and it was superb, couldn’t fault it. Would definitely come back and would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Our visit to The Fish Company in Reykjavik was nothing short of extraordinary. Our daughter and son-in-law treated us to a special evening to celebrate both my 80th birthday and my wife’s, and we could not have asked for a better experience.

From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable—warm, welcoming, and highly attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere struck a perfect balance between cozy and elegant, making it an ideal setting for a memorable occasion.

And then there was the food—perhaps one of the best meals we have ever had. Each dish was a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, showcasing the finest Icelandic ingredients with creative flair. Every bite reflected the skill and passion of the kitchen, making the evening truly unforgettable.

We were at this restaurant tonight. We ordered a set of sushi, large and small for our daughter and my husband ordered a ribeye steak. Very nice restaurant, delicious food and polite staff. There were a lot of people but the service was fast.
