Really tasty and scrumptious food in Reykjavik.
We had Wolfish, Salmon and lobster soup and lobster they were all phenomenally good.
Thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant with a good taste and good vibe around

Had scrumptious seafood at Messinn as part of our food tour. Both the dishes Arctic Char and Cod were mouthwatering. The fish was soft and flavoursome. Overall I had a delightful dining experience.

Great seafood restaurant in Reykjavik. Food was excellent. Servers were friendly. The restaurant was full on a Thursday evening and it had a pleasant hum throughout. I highly recommend it!

Almost 1 hour after ordering, we only got starter and drinks, although the restaurant was not busy at all. Someone came way later than us got their food within 15min, while we had to wait, unbelievable. When we asked about our main course at 40min, the waiter said “in a minute” without checking with the kitchen. Eventually (almost 1 hour) we decided to cancel the rest of the order, otherwise we would have to rush eating. But they didn’t want us to cancel by only responding with “one more minute” multiple times, so we again had to wait 5 more minutes to just cancel the order and pay. Starter and drinks were good…

Sweet and homey restaurant, definitely have a reservation! Food came fast and large portions, could easily have shared a few rather than each order one. 1 star off because I almost got locked in the bathroom as the doorknob was unscrewed and falling off, definitely scared me.
